I play an old Vox transistor organ, I run it through a chorus pedal too, it gives it a GREAT sound... I then run it through a tube amp then into my half-stack, gives it some great over drive when I crank it up with the volume pedal and play some heavy chords... Sounds almost just like a B3 except its missing the percussion!
always loved what a Leslie did for a Hammond B3, and then wanting to know what the interesting guitar sounds were I heard, was pleasantly surprised when I found out they came from a Leslie. Had an uncle who played piano at neighborhood bars on weekends till he retired and then played bigger places full time, and he had a small organ KB and a Big Honking Leslie in the neighborhood places, which was a surprise when I went to see him.
Just sounds like u turned a rotovibe on fast. The whole point of a leslie was the alternatin sppeds. Listen to telephone man by the awb. Best example of git and leslie ive ever heard. And its on slow
actually they are ok. but the pulses are slightly wrong. But the best copy of the uni vibe sound is the one the late great Bob Sweet made. His early models .... It's so good sounding I call it a Uni vibe clone instead of a copy.....
what do you think of it compared to a fender strat? I have an SX tele and I think it's really great for it's price and its the most used out of my guitars and I was maybe thinking of getting an SX strat too as well.

this pedal or the danelectro chicken salad are great and cheap pedal , for substitute an univibe?
i'm from brazil. for me the danelectro is easier to found. which one of these 2 you prefer?
mathenoo 3 years ago
They are very different. The chicken salad is a vibe, the arion is more like a leslie.

Yes, it's an Avatar. I have some crappy Seventy-80 Celestions. Will replace soon. Thanks!
