  • There are so many great things in this part of the film - "Mr and Mrs Borgia from along the road..they brought their own bottle" I'm not even sure of the reference but his delivery is hilarious. Then there is that jaw breaking slap and I love the way Lette barks out orders to everyone, shes good under pressure.

  • when is the murder going to begin?????.........laughed my ass off.. Itsss begining.......isn't it wonderful .......lol

  • Murder mystery Miss Marple style. I think, one of the better ones. I love the twists and turns who done it, murder mystery! Thank you for uploading this!

  • I love the house. It has that "English country house" style that I like very much.

  • This always was, I think, my favorite Christie book. There always was so much emotion in it.

  • the book is better..the position of persons are not right here..in the book are more clues...is wine not sherry..and so one..

  • @bellamafiaable So read the book again.

  • Murder is funny!

  • Catherine Tate seemed an odd choice for the role of the maid in the newer version.

  • Yes, he SO blinks and doesnt look dead at all LOL

  • @MrsExactly

And you could see him breathing and swallowing.

  • 7:37 - I saw him blink ... TWICE!!! ... but he was dead!! LOL ... thanks for uploading this :)

  • Google DCI Stark

  • This is the best miss marple of them all. I have read every Agatha Christie two or three times in my teens.

This story always stayed with me because it was so outrageous a suggestion to think that the entire village would be notified of a murder.

And the finish that make you say "ah! it all fits together" is classic christie.

  • Simon Shepherd and Samantha Bond look so young here!

  • rudi scherz looks like frankenstein in the photograph

  • LOL - you're right, he does look like frankenstein

  • i can't believe the guy slapped the housekeeper like that. LOLOL. it looked more like abuse than trying to calm her down. she should have slapped him in return.

  • the scene where the lights went out was excellent.

the actor playing the dead guy didn't do such a great job, LOL.

  • Utter pandemonium... brilliant!

  • The whole cast performs brilliantly.

  • This is amazing. I could watch these all day. This is one of my favorites.

  • I love Agatha Christie I have almost read every book of hers and watched almost every film

  • LOL

    Same here, dear!

  • I hope one day you have the courage to read these books ;)

  • Has anyone noticed that the dead guy sort of moved his face when the mask was being removed? In a very not dead way?

  • yeah and you can see his eyes move lol

  • I love the maid!

  • She looks seriously anorexic.

  • Das war ja ein fürchterlicher Scherz!

    Das ist so spannend!

Diese Art von Scherz ist in Germany nicht verbreitet hihihi

  • Funny how Miss Blacklock "took control" of the situation at her house.

  • @4Micstromme

Isn't that what homeowners usually do?

  • 8:25 -- "Rudi Schertz": "Scherz" is German for "joke".
