  • SIKTH IS GETTING BACK TOGETHER

  • @OrlyWaitYeah Where did you hear that? Pin is currently working on the album for Aliases, & Mikee is working with Adrian Smith. I'd love for them to get back together, but I quiet like Aliases, & I want to hear what Mikee does with yer man from Iron Maiden.

  • They're officially on facebook now :D

  • We're an independent label trying to make it in this game and the best way to do that is by being more known on youtube. One of the ways we stand out is we help unsigned artists get more fans by uploading their songs for a new fan base

You can change our future with one simple click.

Please thumbs up so other people can see this and check out our channel and comment with feedback if you like, also if you think we could improve.

If you like check the other artists we have over 60 vids up!

    Cheers!

  • i told my self to pay attention to the guitars. and i said "guitars" at 2:00...so weird.

  • 4:00 MainStream or IceCream? hha love this song!

  • cheers for the comments about our old stuff people...

theres talk of a reunion gig for charity late this year

  • i wish they lived forever

  • PUDJINS. EVERYWHURR.

  • Pin has started a new band..Aliases. And Justin is in a new band too..Minutes. Check em out..fans of Sikth will LOVE Aliases!!!!!!

  • I prefer Justin Bieber.... Ahahah naah

  • Anybody else hear that some of the former members of this band and Adrian Smith from Iron Maiden are getting together to form a supergroup? That could be some epic fucking win!!!!

  • @unoffended You Trollin'? Where did you hear that?

  • @CyanideSovereign Metal Hammer magazine.

  • guh. one of the most talented and original bands of our generation. them breaking up was a bigger tragedy than the BP oilspill.

  • absolutely love this band!!!

  • I miss this band so hard :(

  • I have to say, I've never seen a band love music as much as these guys. They probably love it more than I do.

  • You know it's a good song when it still gives you goosebumps when you hear the chorus kick in, after over 300 times of listening to the song on repeat.

  • That.... was awesome. Never seen this before and I'm impressed.

  • Aliases is their new band.... >:D (Pins new band)

  • Fuck I Miss Them!!!! Mucho!!

  • I love the instruments. I just find it so hard to get into a band when you can't hear what the singer is saying...

  • I wish this bad was still around

  • i'm gonna go count grass now ;)

  • Sorry that the video quality has dropped guys. As I uploaded this in 06. Before youtube got into the HD thing. I'll hopefully get a chance to update it this week.

  • @ChrisWhiskey nice updating skills you got there

  • @742617000027go I know man, can't actually find any better versions, it doesn't seem to exists in HD.

  • @ChrisWhiskey why would it exist in HD sikth broke up before HD was anywhere near standardized. shame but there wont be one

  • All the melodies in this song are so memorable.

  • The bigger they are the harder they fall. Maybe there where identical civilisations to ours, thousands of years ago but no trace left due to that principal =/

  • Such a fucking sweet song and video

  • This song is so freakin' sick, it's like I took an adrenaline shot, i love it :P

  • is there any better quility video then this??? and audio 2!

  • this song is like a punch in the face to all conventional metal bands

  • great........... great..............

  • djenty

  • Ulrich, i understand what you mean, but if you take the whole sikth music like something original you will clearly see these insane vocals adds some kind of intensity to the song, everything sounds pretty experimental, and if you don't like prog metal you will never understand this band. These are vocals taken to another level. My point is: you can hate this vocals, but you can't say there's no quality. Try listen "scent of the obscene".

  • Scent of the obscene, such a beautiful piece of art :)

  • goddamn what is it with the vocals these days. . . . if it's not cookie monster it's some constipated psycho or a whiny teenager ... would have been better if they just stuck instrumental. . .same for Periphery .... cool shit but vocals make it unbearable to listen to

  • @UlrichPortnoyDonati9 Free advise: don't listen.

  • man must not forget that we belong to earth, earth does not belong to us!

  • Mikee Goodman from SiKth has set up a really low-key side project with Rich Fownes who plays with UNKLE live, they're called The Painted Smiles, they're not on the same level as SiKth, but when they're playing tiny venues (500 capacity max), they really are pretty awesome, well worth checking out.

  • i think they should do an acoustic version of this song, with bongos and maracas

  • I can not think of anything more funnier to say :)

  • i am not acctually joking tho, it will still sound heavy with detuned 12 string acoustic guitars

  • Lulz.. That should be entertaining :D

  • Do you know the way out?

  • did the kitten purr?

  • rapage

  • what is the meaning of this video, like what is the video about? reply plz

  • Its got to do with breaking the mold of every day boredom of normal boring people.

  • ok ty

  • It seems to me that it's basically showing that we can't beat nature. We can pave over is, we can cut down trees, we can build buildings. But nature always overcomes what we build over it.

We see a city being built rapidly through the begining of the video, taking the place of the natural landscape. But by the end of the video the natural forces and plants overtake the city.

  • thanks you helped me discover the meaning of the video!

  • We build skyscrapers, nature smacks it down with a hurricane.. Fortunately we have nuclear waste! Muahaha! In your face Mother Nature.. xD

  • Hopefull nature will find some way to overcome that too. It probably will.. It overcomes everything we build over it. Just look at the streets and side walk next time your outside, you'll most likely find plants breaking through the cement. Nature overcame the Romans, Egyptians, Sumarians, etc. One day it will make us a distant memory too.

  • That time around, Mankind will hopefully have been smart enough to have created space colonisation..

  • @BeardedDanishViking

Haha XD i fuckin lol'd at this Comment

  • ur dumb

  • COCKCHEESE

  • i love this video

  • THE Fucking Shit! SikTh, Get Back TogeTher!

  • I am in absolute fucking love with this kind of music!!

By the way how is Sikth pronounced? Like six but with "th"?

  • its pronounced sick-th

  • sick th

  • idk if its the right way but i always pronounce it like "sick" then the "th" sound

  • like Sixth.

  • Like sixth but say it like ya got a lisp lol

  • You know Dan's playing with Deftones guitarist now yea?

  • I get lessons with the drummer from this band, Sir Daniel Foord! Hes fuckking amaaaazing!

  • Lucky son of a bitch! lol Good for you.

  • i love this song.what does sikTh means?

  • this reminds me of the first time i saw TITS.

  • HAHAHA!!! YEAH

  • Omg siiikkkkttth! get the fuck back guys, you lot were the inspiration of UK metal!!!

    Irreplaceable =( ...

  • man bands break up to much

  • fuck, I still can't get over the break up, it's really sad

  • anyone who likes this should really check out After the Burial.

  • after the burial is the TITS!

  • something tells me Sikth are irreplacable...

  • this.... is crazy

  • *cries a little*

PLEASEEE COME BACK SIKTH!!! WE NEEEEED YOUUUU D'=

  • unfortunately this is a one of a kind band that absolutely nobody could replace. its too bad they were only around for a short period of time. they've greatly influenced a lot of musicians i know.

  • this is really good! kind of makes me think meshuggah meets SYL

  • incredible beat and awesome singing wont find no better

  • awesome song and what a great video!

  • d00dz this song is awesome :o

  • this might gound a bit cliché, but this sent shivers down my spine

  • Okay im going to be honest i discovered this people a couple months ago.

But as soon as I heard this song i was like... WHY ARE THEY NOT EVERYWHERE I GO?!

Intro almost made me hit the exit button then the explosion of metal just made me fricken love theses guys

  • 'Cause they broke up.

  • this band has wow to it they win points in my eyes coz of there breakdowns or if you like beat bown amazing hardcore lol hope they make more amazing music

  • split up )':

  • 3:32 just makes me want to fucking mosh.

  • amen to that

  • This chorus is one of the best in my opinion

  • Agreed, actually.

  • Damn right

  • Brutal :D Love it :D

  • yes! this is one of my favorite sikth songs

  • In no way am I dissing this band. I love all types of metal. But I will say that alot of bands now singing (which I am open minded) but I just cant seem to get into the real high singing voice that alot of these guys have. Like this band, he has pretty good screams, but just cant get into his high screaming. But like Phill when he sings in Down, its a lower tone and I can dig it alot more. Again, not taking nothing away from this band. I support every kind of metal, best music to ever exist \m/

  • I'm with you man.. sometimes it kinda kills the awesomeness. but usually it works, in it's own way :P

  • guitars have the sickest sound ever

  • how the hell did they write something that technical :O. what a mind fuck. awsome stuff.

  • erm did these guys split up

  • Yeah. :(

  • yeah

  • The chorus is seriously awesome

  • If SikTh came back, they would be perfect to tour with the band Unexpect

  • SikTh and UnexpecT would be crazy. its perfect actually cause not only r they like my 2 favorite bands but they both spell their name with a random capital T

  • WAAAY to technical too copy, especially the drums, his fills and offbeats are simply AMZAING

  • Comment removed

  • I'm so laughing at the comments here where people claim Sikth sounds nothing like Meshuggah.

    R U f'n serious?!

The whole foundation of Sikth IS Meshuggah! Without Meshuggah there would've never been Sikth in the first place.

Next thing people will claim A Life Once Lost ca. 'A Great Artist', TesseracT, and Periphery are not influenced by Meshuggah either.

  • SikTh ARE inspired by Meshuggah, Meshuggah started an entire strip-it-down, build-it-up-again moment within metal and almost all modern metal bands are directly inspired by them. But apart from rhythm section, NOTHING in SikTh sounds like Meshuggah. That's like saying Dillinger sound like Meshuggah, yes of course without Meshuggah there would be no Dillinger, but they do not sound the same.

  • This must be one of the most technical bands with the most crazy timesignatures and temposhifts i´ ve heard in a long time:O Faith no more meats devin townsend, meats ultra technical mathcore hardcore and metalcore! this is sick!!

  • sikth... needs... to... reform... now...

  • COME BACK SIKTH! WE LOVE YOU!

  • This song is mad good!

  • I would die to see this guys re-unite on a tour with maybe Protest the hero and Cynic?

Now how awesome would that be.

  • Replace Protest The Hero and Cynic with Meshuggah and Textures, and it would be crazy awesome...

  • PTH is amazing...why do you say that?

  • Because i find them them less amazing? :)

  • Dude, that's your subjective view.

I love Meshuggah, Textures and Protest the Hero but drawing conclusions between such bands is nothing short of childish.

  • these guys with fall of troy and dillinger... omfg

  • dillinger fuckin created mathcore... they coined it dude...

and honestly... using the word emo to diss a band doesnt mean a damn thing... it just means you have very little appreciation of music as a whole and you need to coin anything you dont like into "emo"

    stfu

  • GuitaristMan23

dude....... you dont know music then.... crawl into a corner and die

  • guitaristman23: you suck really hard.

  • no, you're a 'fuckin emo poser'

  • ...lol

  • meh.. pth for the win.

  • agreed.

  • RIP SikTH you will be dearly missed!

  • this shit is the bees knees

  • WOW @ the intro!!!

im just getting into this band, up to now, saying i like them is a GROSS understatement!

  • one of thier best songs

but have they actually made any bad songs? i havent heard any shit from em, not that im complaining

    shame they split

  • this band is one of the most original bands i heard in awhile they have nothing that even compares to there complexity and sound

  • *they have no one*

  • It sounds like Meshuggah and In Flames had an illigitimate child in my honest opinion.

  • I know.. Isnt it lovely :D

  • Dont forget the love affair with protest the hero

  • Dude this is awesome! Ive heard OF this band for some time but never took the time to check them out. The fact that they write melodic vocal parts to such insanity is fucking the bees knees. I lurve it!

  • This will always be a favorite of mine. 3:23 is where the real fun starts, though. :P

  • i love this group.

  • siKth Rules

  • Damn, every fucking prog/tech band is probably influenced by this sick ass shit.

  • This is one adrenaline-pumping song. I just CAN'T sit still and listen to it.. I HAVE to do something.

Also, the more light parts in the singing give the song a really deep feeling.

I love this kind of music. Swaying from one side to another, yet sounding somehow united to both.

  • This is like a sweet hybrid of Dream Theater, Slipknot, and Protest the Hero

  • You know what spacebar mean ?

  • yes, meshuggah are very overrated, i lose interest in them as soon as i start listening, the singer just kills it for me. the music is great though.

  • Meshuggah's guitarists are EXTREMELLY complex.

Thier style is super complicated to recreate. Good band, i agree on the vocals though. They could also do with changing some parts throughout the songs instead of keeping that constant..

  • Meshuggah's guitars aren't all the complicated they only use like 5 different notes in all of their songs. Although they sound really complicated because they have lots of polyrythyms with the drums and sometimes just between the guitarists which make is sound alot harder than it actually it.

  • I agree with that but at the same time, to be able to recreate thier rythm which is tighter than a ducks asshole, is incredibly difficult. They are quite a complex band in terms of phrasing and composition. Notes wise... chugging basically.

  • LOL playing loads of notes and shit ain't what messhuggah are about, they're about sickass rhythms and dodgy time signatures. That shit is probably harder because it's practiced alot less.

  • Meshuggah don't have dodgy time signatures, most of its in 4/4 (if not all). It's meshuggah's awesome poly-rhythms and beat displacement that makes it so fucking cool.

  • car bomb are so sick! may i also recommend botch, they are top notch

  • LMFAO 'TOPSLOP' XD

  • Meshuggah is highly overrated.

  • i agree. meshuaggah have good ideas technically... but are nothing on sikth...

  • Every SiKth video I find, everyone is comparing them with Meshuaggah lol.

  • Aside from the fact that Destroy Erase Improve came out in 1995 when no fucker had heard anything remotely like it.

  • but there repetitive and all of their songs are just the same basic idea, meshuaggah could be so much more and other bands like sikth or ion dissonance realised that and used the complex time signatures of meshuaggah in a more interesting and musical form.

  • I don't understand that people are actually trying to compare something as remotely different as Meshuggah and Sikth. Polyrhythms are used by both bands, but still, comparing them is like comparing jazz to african music. Both use polyrhythms aswell, but needless to say, they are completely different beasts.

  • I hate finding bands that IO really like, only to find out they've broken up.

    x___x

  • i agree i recently found this band and they are fuckin amazing. but they are DEAD!

  • SiKth =/= Meshuggah.

    Two different bands.

    SiKth = SiKth

    Meshuggah = Meshuggah

  • i wish i had a car battery, a vacuum and some lube so i could _________.

  • Stop comparing them to Meshugga dammit. Meshugga are pretty good, but sikth are pretty awesome

  • 1:02 he repeats the lyrics bland street bloom 7 times =l

  • A world of wonders

    man-made mechanical thunders!!!!!!
