GUYS! It was 60's week! STFU! They didnt have much of a choice. The girls were given a list of 25 songs and the guys had a list of another 25 songs. Thats it! For 12 girls picking from a list of 12 old old OLD songs and there were only 3 good up tempo ones that were already taken from other contestants, she picked a good song.

@Season12Idol She picked a terrific song. It's just that the original is so perfect and iconic no matter what Amy did with it, it would not live up to the original vocals. Many believe that Connie's vocals on this song represent one of, if not the, most perfect vocals ever set to record.

I think it was the wrong song for her! It was out of tune in spots, too big, and too boring and that was her doom. She can definitely sing; that fragment at 0:25 to 0:30 was really good!!! Sadly since this was her first appearance on stage and we didn't have any other reference (just comparing this performance to other girls' that night)... she deserved to leave :( Her expression at 4:15 is very heartbreaking....

Bad pitch, she hits the bottom of every note, and she sidles up to the top notes like a fat kid sidling up to a donut he's not supposed to have.
