I think your a bit mislead. The US has LESS crime than England France and Belgiurm?! a) that wouldn't make sense anyway because of population size and b) do your homework. As of 2010 American ranks no. 4 in the world for gun related deaths and number 1 for the developed world. In 2000 an estimated 52,000 died. 2004's about 29,000. For 2010 its lower, between 9369-11,130. In the UK in 2010. 14 (more than 50% one bloke). France was about 244 last year. Anyway. Agree to disagree eh? Over and out.
@Roomrocks I was talking about percentage wise compared to population size. Wanted to be more specific but ran out of characters. Also I didn't say gun related deaths I said murder rate. Two different things.
@hardcoreedwa2 No, it says all intsrustors have a large ammount of combat experiance, as far as we know: Two of which obtained from the police force. Neigh does it say they are active military, however does state some were previously active.
First off roomrocks most shooting academies train you to shoot to your max potential not in gun safety. But I understand you not understanding this stuff as your country doesn't even allow you to stop criminals from taking your own shit.
@MrYACYAS No, fair one mate I get you. Of course you should be able to defend yourself but I just felt that the times I've been over to the states I found the freedom of the gun culture a bit frightening. Weapons spur weapons. I for one would own a gun if I lived there because if everybody's allowed a gun and the chances of coming into contact with one are much higher than in countries where gun ownership is much more regulated. I mean can I get a license to carry a knife or samari sword?
@Roomrocks Your frightened only because you've been mislead. Think of it this way, of industrialized countries (ie France, england, USA, etc, etc.) The US is way behind in the murder rate. We're not even close to number one (We we're only 18th in 1996 when our murder rate was the highest). We also have less crime compared to England, and France and Belgium beats America in murders committed with firearms. Also I carry a knife every day not to go around shaken bitches but as a utility blade.

@Roomrocks Yes, because all the people who use guns to commit crimes are totally trained to do such. Absolutely. Honey, take a look at the stats. Where there is gun control, crime rates will be higher. Deaths will be higher. You don't want that, do you, honey?
Then compare it to our stats. In the states where we do not have gun control, crime rates lower. There are less deaths. And aside from that, more crimes happen using knives than guns.

you have a point about dozens of people opening fire on an individual committing a crime but the possibility of that occuring would help to prevent that type of behavior in the 1st place.
not all instances, but some.
when a dozen people have the oppurtunity to react against a criminal we have to hope that people will use their best judgement and not attempt to kill him 47 times over.

@salinas1979 they are the 30 tards topher81807 mentioned. You know what the funny part is, and what they are afraid of..is change and all the bs they been shoving around peoples face being wrong. Cause once they take some classes, learn how firearms work and talk to responsible gun owners the majority of them I have seen, become hooked and stand on the other side of the fence and get dished the same judgement crap they had been spewing.
And oh yeah... we are not your freaking buddy, but we are here to help you. Because that is what living in a free country is all about. WE don't raid your house over unpaid tickets or lego guns. Try changing congress/ senate asshole, not the police. That is where the problem is.
Lets all fire auto rifles and pretend we are good at something. LOL he watched his mag on the reload because e was unsure where to put it. Real professional...NOT Tulsa Swat? LOL is there such a thing? I know this is a Joke right? MY mother could perform those actions but she cant buy a full auto, not many people can so teach people with realistic weapons! The average civilian can NOT have these weapons! So your class would be useless and for the rest of us, we are already that good!
Some classes are not for the average citizen, which unfortunately includes your mother. These individuals on staff dedicate their time to train both regular law abiding citizens and those professional operators who work everyday with the "unrealistic weapons" you speak of. And yes there is a Tulsa SWAT. There are many other SWAT units around this country you have never heard of either, which have served with honor and valor. Your not that good, I can tell by your lack of intelligence.
@tarek1982 I think it is an MP-5 K. It is widely used by anti terrorists and elite squadrons because it is easy to handle, and has a small size so you can aim without problems in small areas, such as a room inside a building, or a living room of a house. And, as the majority of rescue operations are performed inside buildings, you need a small but powerfull weapon, such as the MP-5 K.
Did anyone really watch the video? Every instructor there is either an ex law enforcement officer, or a professional shooter....but I guess the fatties watching this video are better versed in tactics and shooting ability.
I love how the first guy opens the door and just stands right there in an open doorway. I sure hope this is not supposed to be a tactical shooting demo. See how his hands and weapon are inside the "room"? Not good.
@jesusbuiltmyh0tr0d to you and tweak93 this is not talking about starting a fight. its talking about finishing one. this is a phrase we use in police training and since this is a police training facility also they use it with everyone. it doesn't matter if your in combat, police, or just going to walmart, if your faced with a situation where deadly force is needed ITS A FIGHT TO SURVIVE. you don't have to start shit, but you better know how to defend yourself it can happen anywhere at anytime.
I wonder why a civilian needs this kind of training. I'm all for learning how to handle a gun responsibly but tactical reloads and room clearing is overboard imo especially with the growing threat of homegrown terrorism.. This kind of training in the wrong hands can cause a lot of problems for law enforcement. Please don't reply with any "liberal, commie, pacifist" bs either. I'm an Afghan vet with more family in the military than probably most so save it.
@blupheonix44 I'm talking about the wrong person getting this kind of training and harming others. The same way the 911 terrorist got flight training whats to stop any home grown/foreign terrorist from going to one of these places and getting these tactics and training others or using it against law enforcement?
Doesn't it say in the constitution, or somewhere, that states should have standing militias? It's a right. Government SHOULD be afraid of it's people, not the other way round.... Plus, if you STILL think 9/11 was done by muslims with a few box cutters.... The fuck man?! You know ANYTHING about the way NATO works?
Why is it, that only on THAT day, things were SO FUCKED UP, and why was Cheney in charge of NATO that day, never happened before of since that a VP took control... Explain..
@blupheonix44 Fuck me? I didn't insult you or anybody else and I didn't say anything about 9/11 conspiracy so you can save your rant for someone else. If you can't intelligently answer me question or talk like an adult then don't bother replying because I won't.
Dude, as a veteran you should be able to point out the flaws in the 9/11 story...
Why was CAP not in the air for 40+ minutes after incursion? Why was Bush not RUSHED out of that classroom? Come on man, the official story STINKS to high hell. No one lost their job, no one was reprimanded. What about that ATC guy who was responsible for those flights? As usual, if government is involved, NO ONE lost his job..
@tuopvm The majority of people who would take this training are honest, law abiding citizens, who are from many facets of life. As a police officer, I say there is nothing wrong with the honest citizens receiving this type of training. With that said, unless you are a sworn law enforcement, military personnel, or select other, you can not receive some classes. Any reputable trainer ensures this.
@t22many I'm sure that's what the brochure says but do they do background checks or something? Also with the increasing number of criminals infiltrating the military who's to say if these schools don't have ties to homegrown terrorist/criminal groups. I saw plenty of swastikas and confederate flags during my enlistment. In America everything has a price so i don't doubt what ppl will do for a buck. Just makes me wonder thats all.
I've never been to an actual shooting competition...but i've looked up a lot of mods for weapons....sooooo expensive. I like seeing guys taking regular weapons with regular ammo. Theres some show on I think the military channel where a guy thats done ALOT of spec ops is givin a scenario to complete and some intel so it's not like he's just running into a room that he's practiced on a thousand times it's pretty bad ass.
Nice to see how SWAT gets trained to KILL YOU when they break into your house to raid you in the middle of the night because you forgot to pay a parking ticket or the fact that your child brought a 2 inch lego gun to school. The good old USA has turned into a police state. The government is overt oppresion, they're not your buddy and they're not there to help you (anymore).
@mrjustin5 You, along with the left ignorant liberals disgust me. You have absofuckinglutely no idea what being a police officer involves. Nor do you realize what patriots they are. Those I serve with daily on the streets and meet on a regular basis love this country and believe in the Constitution of the United States of America. They try daily to rid the streets of scum sucking bottom dwellers spite the red tape the left puts on us. Your comment content shows your ignorance.
@t22many Not to butt in but I have to disagree about every cop being the All- American patriot type. I don't hate cops but I don't deal with them anymore than I have to either. I've experienced and seen to many clips and read to many headlines of cops doing foul shit to just give them a pass because they wear a badge. I've met a few cool ones but I've met more than a few that are in love with the power. Being former military a few have even told me in casual conversation thats y they do it.
@tuopvm I don't think EVERY police officer is an all-american type. Unfortunately some bad apples make it in. This is the foul shit you see in the media. Not the heroic and selfless acts performed daily throughout this country. Those who do this job for a power trip, well all I can say is they don't last very long. They either discover themselves as not worthy to wear the badge or are forced to lay it down due to their selfish actions. Police as a whole hate these bad apples.
And oh yeah... we are not your freaking buddy, but we are here to help you. Because that is what living in a free country is all about. WE don't raid your house over unpaid tickets or lego guns. Try changing congress/ senate asshole, not the police. That is where the problem is.
I love how they showed all of that shit. Yeah, that's nice you have all those great people. Yeah, that's nice that you have a top of the line stuff or whatever... But I want to see their targets!
No problem. Believe me, they are the best holsters money can buy. So secure so slimline, so comfortable. Buy from Malabar Front, Ravens exclusive dealer.
Thats what they are doing you fucking moron. You think they train people to just kill other people? Seriously just shut the fuck up if you are that uninformed. These places teach personal protection, (because you are a retard that means self defense), target shooting, (again, you being retarded that means shooting for sport) and law enforcement (you=retard, so that means teaching police how to shoot the bad guys and not you when you call for help....)
Its tree hugging uninformed douchebags like you that fuck us safe, responsible gun owners over. You pussies are afraid of weapons, probably because your tree hugging bisexual parents were afraid of them. You dont have to like guns. But before you open your mouth and spew out uninformed assumptions, fucking take a few classes, talk to responsible gun owners, learn how firearms work before you label us.
Cool. You hate guns? Guns lower crime rates. Take a look at Switzerland. Every male owns a gun. The gun crime rates are so low that gun crimes aren't recorded. Keep hating guns. No one really cares that your Insurgent father was killed.
Switzerland is a country with compulsory military service. The Swiss militia system requires all personnel to keep all weapons and equipment in their homes. In Switzerland it means every man who owns a gun is highly trained to handle and shoot firearms. In the US it is much different because any average joe can go to the gun store and purchase a firearm if they pass a background check. There is no training required here, therefor the consequences of gun ownership differ greatly.
Do you have to go though extensive training to own a knife? What about a baseball bat? A pointy stick? A rock? A block of cheese? A hammer?
A gun is a tool. It is used to complete a task. That task is simply to be a platform for a bullet, which has its own task. The bullets task is to put a hole in something at range. That is it.
@KurNorock Don't really understand what your point is. They are not teaching you how to press the trigger, they are teaching you how to aim, hold the gun and how to position yourself. A gun requires more skill than simply pointing and shooting. Did you notice that guy at 3:01 think you'd have much of a chance vs him in a gun fight?
@TheThirdPrestigiator - And I don't understand what your point is. I didn't say anything about 'just pressing a trigger' either. I know what it takes to shoot a gun accurately and quickly.
My point was in response to somebody saying that everybody should have to go through extensive training to own a gun. The point being that almost anything can be as dangerous as a gun, and a gun is just a tool, it is property.
@kansaikanadian - Yeah, that's why I have 16 thumbs up on my comment. Because nobody agrees with me...
A gun is a tool, plain and simple. It is just a device used to safely launch a projectile with reasonable accuracy. Just as a car is a tool. A device used to safely transport a person from one point to another. People in cars kill far more people than people with guns every year.
lol no. A baseball bat can be used as a weapon but it's primary purpose is to hit a ball. You are not hitting baseballs or opening beer cans with a gun. You are putting bullets in a target in order to kill/disable it. Even shooting on the range you are judged by how deadly your shot is.
@kansaikanadian - Any object you own has a primary purpose determined by what you use it for. I know a person who owns a baseball bat and only has it for home defense. It will never hit a ball. My uncle owns over 3 dozen guns and only one of them was purchased for self defense. The others are for target shooting, collection, hunting, and competition.
When I shoot at a target I am not killing it. You can not kill paper and steel plates. You are judged by your accuracy, not deadliness.
@kansaikanadian - And actually I have shot many baseballs and opened many cans with guns.
In any event, the only primary purpose of a gun is to act as a stable and accurate platform for launching a projectile. The only people who assume the only use for that sort of tool is to kill a person, are hysterical, idiotic, ignorant liberals like yourself.
@kansaikanadian you would be from japan.....you never had the right anyway...you guys are fucking pushovers.....you fucking attacked us over your lack of resources in ww2, now you bitch over our gun rights.....leave it be bitch, we own you for a reason...just about everybody commenting in here hasnt even so much as pointed a gun at someone...its a tool for protection and competition, if you dont like it, dont watch videos on it....this is life.
Anyone can swing a bat. Not every can be good at hitting a ball with that bat, especially if they've never tried it before.
A gun is a tool, and it's a tool that requires a level of proficiency so that the bullets go where you intend. You can't just pick up a gun, and expect to be proficient at putting rounds on target. It take training and practice. Are you saying that being able to use a gun is the same as being able to use a hammer? Do you not practice at all with your firearms?
@opmike343 - you are making my point for me. You don't need extensive training to own a bat. a gun is a tool. and like any tool, even something as simple as a hammer, it takes some practice to use well. but that does not mean you should be required to take expensive classes just to own a hammer, or a gun.
I didn't say anything about "requirement", nor am I making your point for you. Expensive instruction isn't geared towards everyone. However, you cannot deny that for many, proper instruction by other experienced shooters can help them attain a level that they may not otherwise achieved just by themselves. And you can't make a direct comparison between hammering a nail and effectively using a firearm. Shooting is more like welding a proper bead than simply driving a nail.
@opmike343 - i would never say that good training is a bad thing, or not recommended to anybody looking to get into firearms. However the original point of my comments several months ago, was that it should never be a requirement. and even a person who has never had a day of training can become an extremely safe, and accurate shooter through simple common sense and experience. happens all the time.
@drgentlewolf good on moron....going after us over the people we are at war with....why dont you go fuck yourself....gun crimes arent committed by every day citizens, they are done by career criminals or mentally inept people.....you fall into that mentally inept/handicapped category....so piss off, dont bitch over uneducated prejudices....you are misinformed and you are embarrassing yourself.
Don't confuse excellent shooting technique with low recoil ammo. Instead of posting ignorant comments spend your time practicing. Yeah SOME shooters use low recoil, but even in Practical Shooting they measure bullet speed and a minimum power factor must be met. I wonder if these comments are from people that ever been to practical shooting match. I've seen it, they come and see the level of execution and run away claiming some gimmick is in place. Just practice, it's not impossible.
On the line of low recoil, yes, they do use low recoil, usually hand loaded ammo- the difference in match shooting and combat is A: a match has consistent ammo- in combat you usually have generic, unreliable ammo, so malfunction training is essential to surviving. B: you don't use lighter loads when you're trying to shoot a hostile target and keep them down, and you never put less than 2 bullets per target. Such demonstrations are great, though as you can see, its a quiet range-
But you must have in mind that when you see these persons shooting, they use special ammo with low recoil... if you look close the guns dont kick back very much, that is for the pistols, Mp5 I dont know
don't sell me sports-shooters for home defense. I feel insulted.

SOLDERBOY69 1 year ago

It's good knowledge to have if your handling any gun... The more you know, can't do you any harm..
blupheonix44 1 year ago
@blupheonix44 I'm talking about the wrong person getting this kind of training and harming others. The same way the 911 terrorist got flight training whats to stop any home grown/foreign terrorist from going to one of these places and getting these tactics and training others or using it against law enforcement?
tuopvm 1 year ago
@tuopvm
Explain..
blupheonix44 1 year ago
@blupheonix44 Fuck me? I didn't insult you or anybody else and I didn't say anything about 9/11 conspiracy so you can save your rant for someone else. If you can't intelligently answer me question or talk like an adult then don't bother replying because I won't.
tuopvm 1 year ago
@tuopvm
As usual, if government is involved, NO ONE lost his job..
blupheonix44 1 year ago
@tuopvm The majority of people who would take this training are honest, law abiding citizens, who are from many facets of life. As a police officer, I say there is nothing wrong with the honest citizens receiving this type of training. With that said, unless you are a sworn law enforcement, military personnel, or select other, you can not receive some classes. Any reputable trainer ensures this.
t22many 1 year ago
@t22many I'm sure that's what the brochure says but do they do background checks or something? Also with the increasing number of criminals infiltrating the military who's to say if these schools don't have ties to homegrown terrorist/criminal groups. They try daily to rid the streets of scum sucking bottom dwellers spite the red tape the left puts on us. Your comment content shows your ignorance.
t22many 1 year ago
@t22many Not to butt in but I have to disagree about every cop being the All- American patriot type. I don't hate cops but I don't deal with them anymore than I have to either. I've experienced and seen to many clips and read to many headlines of cops doing foul shit to just give them a pass because they wear a badge. I've met a few cool ones but I've met more than a few that are in love with the power. Being former military a few have even told me in casual conversation thats y they do it.
tuopvm 1 year ago
@tuopvm I don't think EVERY police officer is an all-american type. Unfortunately some bad apples make it in. This is the foul shit you see in the media. Not the heroic and selfless acts performed daily throughout this country. Those who do this job for a power trip, well all I can say is they don't last very long. They either discover themselves as not worthy to wear the badge or are forced to lay it down due to their selfish actions. Police as a whole hate these bad apples.

Cool. You hate guns? Guns lower crime rates. Take a look at Switzerland. Every male owns a gun. The gun crime rates are so low that gun crimes aren't recorded. Keep hating guns. No one really cares that your Insurgent father was killed.
Abeastlypie 2 years ago 3
Switzerland is a country with compulsory military service. The Swiss militia system requires all personnel to keep all weapons and equipment in their homes. In Switzerland it means every man who owns a gun is highly trained to handle and shoot firearms. In the US it is much different because any average joe can go to the gun store and purchase a firearm if they pass a background check. There is no training required here, therefor the consequences of gun ownership differ greatly.
Ktownsend1992 1 year ago
Then maybe we should be more like the Swiss.
Abeastlypie 1 year ago
Do you have to go though extensive training to own a knife? What about a baseball bat? A pointy stick? A rock? A block of cheese? A hammer?
A gun is a tool. It is used to complete a task. That task is simply to be a platform for a bullet, which has its own task. The bullets task is to put a hole in something at range. That is it.
KurNorock 1 year ago 20
@KurNorock Don't really understand what your point is. They are not teaching you how to press the trigger, they are teaching you how to aim, hold the gun and how to position yourself. A gun requires more skill than simply pointing and shooting. Did you notice that guy at 3:01 think you'd have much of a chance vs him in a gun fight?
TheThirdPrestigiator 1 year ago
@TheThirdPrestigiator - And I don't understand what your point is. I didn't say anything about 'just pressing a trigger' either. I know what it takes to shoot a gun accurately and quickly.
My point was in response to somebody saying that everybody should have to go through extensive training to own a gun. The point being that almost anything can be as dangerous as a gun, and a gun is just a tool, it is property.
KurNorock 1 year ago
@KurNorock
lol just a tool. The only tool in this whole thread is you buddy.
kansaikanadian 1 year ago
@kansaikanadian - Yeah, that's why I have 16 thumbs up on my comment. Because nobody agrees with me...
A gun is a tool, plain and simple. It is just a device used to safely launch a projectile with reasonable accuracy. Just as a car is a tool. A device used to safely transport a person from one point to another. People in cars kill far more people than people with guns every year.
If guns kill people, mine are defective.
KurNorock 1 year ago
@KurNorock
lol no. A baseball bat can be used as a weapon but it's primary purpose is to hit a ball. You are not hitting baseballs or opening beer cans with a gun. You are putting bullets in a target in order to kill/disable it. Even shooting on the range you are judged by how deadly your shot is.
kansaikanadian 1 year ago
@kansaikanadian - Any object you own has a primary purpose determined by what you use it for. I know a person who owns a baseball bat and only has it for home defense. It will never hit a ball. My uncle owns over 3 dozen guns and only one of them was purchased for self defense. The others are for target shooting, collection, hunting, and competition.
When I shoot at a target I am not killing it. You can not kill paper and steel plates. You are judged by your accuracy, not deadliness.
KurNorock 1 year ago
@kansaikanadian - And actually I have shot many baseballs and opened many cans with guns.
In any event, the only primary purpose of a gun is to act as a stable and accurate platform for launching a projectile. The only people who assume the only use for that sort of tool is to kill a person, are hysterical, idiotic, ignorant liberals like yourself.
KurNorock 1 year ago
@kansaikanadian you would be from japan.....you never had the right anyway...you guys are fucking pushovers.....you fucking attacked us over your lack of resources in ww2, now you bitch over our gun rights.....leave it be bitch, we own you for a reason...just about everybody commenting in here hasnt even so much as pointed a gun at someone...its a tool for protection and competition, if you dont like it, dont watch videos on it....this is life.
fireball676 1 year ago
@KurNorock
Do you not practice at all with your firearms?
opmike343 1 year ago
@opmike343 - you are making my point for me. You don't need extensive training to own a bat. a gun is a tool. and like any tool, even something as simple as a hammer, it takes some practice to use well. but that does not mean you should be required to take expensive classes just to own a hammer, or a gun.
and yes, i do practice with my firearms often.
KurNorock 1 year ago
@KurNorock
Shooting is more like welding a proper bead than simply driving a nail.
opmike343 1 year ago
@opmike343 - i would never say that good training is a bad thing, or not recommended to anybody looking to get into firearms. However the original point of my comments several months ago, was that it should never be a requirement. and even a person who has never had a day of training can become an extremely safe, and accurate shooter through simple common sense and experience. happens all the time.

Just practice, it's not impossible.

soccer941212 2 years ago
On the line of low recoil, yes, they do use low recoil, usually hand loaded ammo- the difference in match shooting and combat is A: a match has consistent ammo- in combat you usually have generic, unreliable ammo, so malfunction training is essential to surviving. B: you don't use lighter loads when you're trying to shoot a hostile target and keep them down, and you never put less than 2 bullets per target. Such demonstrations are great, though as you can see, its a quiet range-
