You misread my post (or I wasn't clear enough. That is not a first). I meant that FOX reports it as they see it...in most cases. As such, since Obama is dropping the ball and many fronts, Fox reports on it as they see it. It just so happens that 80% (exaggerated number on my part) of what the current admin. is doing is negative. I'm a FOX fan and have been for almost 10 years. That said, there is no PERFECT news organization in existence...they just happen to be the most powerful.

Fox news reporters often cite expert opinions without making specific citations and it turns out the expert opinion is simply the opinion of Beck or O'Reilly. The republicans are polling ahead in both New Jersey and Virginia, both state that went for Obama. Fox's ratings are on the rise. I am not sure about the tea party numbers - but it was a lot more than 40,000. It was easily in the hundreds of thousands. Fox actually has the most politically diverse audience of all the cable news outlets.

1. i wont raise taxes on people makin under 250,000. a bill is on the books to raise taxes for someone like me.
2. i will get rid of the patriot act . He extended the bush agenda and added some extra perks for the current structured system.
3. More Transparency with the government. I will sent up a website so the american people can see the bills before they pass. Ive tried to see those and he aint doin it.

He sends emails out for all of us, his website gives us more of a grasp of what's going on. The taxes haven't been raised, so I don't see what your talking about. I thought about that too. I wasn't happy about that. I've also thought about what it must mean to be a President for Obama. He's attempted bipartisanship, which is good, but f-ck bipartisanship. The point everyone here is largely brushing over is, it's not about Fox opinion pundits like O'Reilly and Beck. Everyone admits that they're wide-open about their bias. What's dangerous about Fox News is that their standard, everyday journalism is hugely slanted towards Conservative ideology. Anyone who doesn't see that is either blind or stupid (or both). Also, it's not a question of whether or not they have the right to be bias. Of course they do. And we have the right to call them out on it.

If you're arguing that Fox News is tilted right to offset left-leaning commentators, then that's another issue. Certainly there are liberal pundits all over network and cable TV. But, like O'Reilly and Beck, they don't hide it. The difference is when the regular news headlines are tilted. This is the part of the news that's supposed to be truly fair and unbalanced. The whole point is, be as biased as you want, but don't sell it as fair and balanced media.

You misread my post (or I wasn't clear enough. That is not a first). I meant that FOX reports it as they see it...in most cases. As such, since Obama is dropping the ball and many fronts, Fox reports on it as they see it. It just so happens that 80% (exaggerated number on my part) of what the current admin. is doing is negative. I'm a FOX fan and have been for almost 10 years. That said, there is no PERFECT news organization in existence...they just happen to be the most powerful.
