the weight depends on the size of the parents. My maltipoo is now about 16 lbs even though I was told she would grow to be 11 lbs. She's not overweight, just bigger than we thought - and the perfect size!

Maltipoos are honestly the best type of dog you can ever have.

I have a six month old maltipoo myself. He aims to please as he follows through on commands an is submissive to the right degree. I've never really liked little dogs because of the BDS (Big Dog Syndrome) they seem to have in most cases, but mine doesn't and so he's pretty great to have around. I highly recommend maltipoos to allergic people and those that want a partner for life that'll never let you down. (Well, unless he/she pees on the carpet...))
