@robertwc82 Apparently, but, here is an article that states that we have found a multicellular organism that is 2 billion years old - google sciencedaily, multicellular organism.
Screw the so-called nazi laser, i found out about beaks how their length depends on the temperature, So the beak gets longer when things gets hot, (Oh snap, sexual innuendo! Bow chica wow wow!)
billions of years of mars's history? how many billions of years old can those little puddles of water be? the entire universe is only 13.7 billion years old.
@Sickshot12 either i misspoke or u misunderstood. if (a) water (in puddles or whatever), years ago, existed on mars and (b) took billions of years to disappear then (c) the water that previously existed lasted for billions of years.
that means water puddles on mars lived longer than the universe's first stars, which lived, from start to explosive finish, in a few hundred million years
The No. 1 Worm at the end is such a great example, of many, regarding how environment really does dictate development and behavior. Any serious personal research will justify that if we have abundance, we would also be less...toothy. :)
@glenbruce Good luck on making a car that is both light weight, aerodynamic, safe and have the ability to fit people onto it. Look at how the cars are designed, notice how the thin side of the paper cuts through air much easier than it's flat side. If your car design can surpass those cars then great.
@yusufsheth The power output would be incredibility small, but who knows what the future holds and maybe one day we can turn that power output into something much larger.
The fact that the cancer identifying pill is going to hit markets, worries me. I don't like medicine being in the hands of companies.. Just makes it harder for people to get what they need.
I miss the soothing British accents that I've become accustomed to in New Scientist videos. Please make it like it was, change scares my simple and infantile mind.

Thankfully our lousy eyes spares us that!!

that cant be used to generate power, can it? it's only for controlling the rotation of nanodiscs?
if it is used for generating power (via a basic turbine method) would the power output be anywhere near useful?
