The only good vocal samples in psy. Fuck cheesy drug references and nichols/shulgin/hofmann speech samples, it's just lamelame and cheesy to the extreme. Actually the whole song is awesome, the dune reference just makes it perfect for me. The dune story is just epic and the story of spice in the books is very interesting to me. Damn, even dune 2 owns. Best song I have heard in a while. Love it.

From your comment I'm quite sure you have only read the first book or seen the movies. Every story about good and evil with a resource as the apex can be watered down to russians,americans and oil, which is plain wrong if you ask me. To tell you the truth dune is not even about good vs bad, lord of the rings is about good vs bad but dune is not. The first book is just a prequel to a much more complex and more epic story. If you like scifi I urge you to read the books.

you right i only read the first one. hmm did you know that "the lord of the ring" was banned in soviet russia? try to read "The Player of Games" or "Chasm City" great books. there are even some great political books like "Lord of the Flies" or "The Master and Margarita" but they give you reasons why something is good or bad, dune doesn't and thats called demagogy. i actually think that this kind of books are dangerous.

I must repectfully disagree. I agree it good. But 12 years must not have opened you up to much. Have you ever heard of Infected Mushroom, 1200 Micrograms, or the like. There are electronic songs out there that will literally change your acpect on life, without the use of words. or drugs even! that said, this is still a nice, simple piece.

I really like this track "Dancing Galaxy" But the one I have I wasn't able to find anywhere else, and I believe it is under "Ambient Galaxy" as well.

It is definitely a remix/rework to dancing galaxy AND it is a lot better than the original one. It has more life in it, but it's from a mix cd so it won't be a full track. You 'll have a idea of what it sounds like.

Todays psy trance is manily characterized by a simple/complex bassline running on a 4/4 kick sound.. in a definite rhythm... sometimes the entire music is based on that bassline. Such basslines are very easy easy to male on softwares such as FL Stusio, Cubase.. etc.. The music thus created is in no way near to the sound of the early Goa Trance composed by hallucinogen, astral projection et al... lotta commercialation etc.. has made early goa completely lost with time..
