  • Hi! Have you heard the talk about - fast abs magic (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my cooworker got great 6 pack abs and lost tons of belly fat with it.

  • I wanna see your Bird Dog, Dog Dog, your Bird Dog Dog. Your Bird Dog Dog Dog, Your Bird Dog Dog.

  • dude this trainer is a retard, you are not supposed to move your hips at all then it actually works, or else this exercise is bullshit. thats why these trainers suck ass because they can do basic bodyweight exercises right

  • @gotnba Then lets see your best Bird-dog Bitch

  • JOHNNY IS A JOKER ..A VERY FUNNY JOKER..

    HE'S A BIRDDOG !!

  • excellent video...

  • i like to bring my knee to touch my hand when i do the bird dog. it works the whole body!

  • when i try to do this i just fall over, am i doing something wrong or is my core just weak?

  • @vijfendertig

Could be several reasons. Are you using the opposite limbs (e.g. RIGHT arm and LEFT leg)? This is very important.

From just reading you post I can of course not see where your problem is. It might be a weakness of the core, the arm (so that the arm you keep on the ground is not strong enough to support you soundly and thus you are falling over) or a simple balance problem.

You might start by separating this exercise into two. One raising the arm only and one raising only the leg.

  • Excellent demo.

  • what a douche. this is for the erector spinae muscle group

  • @GetSixPackNow You are mistaken, or you are a spammer yourself.

  • this exercise isnt for the rectus abdominus at all,its largely for the back extensors and rotators

  • Thanks guys. Good stuff

  • Why will it be counter productive?

  • @ccasivad because the idea is to maintain a neutral lumbar spine while the motion occurs only at the hip and shoulder. The core muscles are what keep this braced position and to deviate from it reduces the effectiveness of the exercise.

  • Nice video. Thanks for posting.

  • nice demo
