  • you actually play this quite well.

  • very nice

  • u shouldnt play main theme legato!

  • I really, really love the way you play this etude. Absolutely wonderful--not rushed at all.

  • bravo Maestro, pero la version original es mas rapido :D

It is really nice what you did but the original idea is to play it faster... I know its hard... :9

    BIG HUG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Brilliant, kid. Whatever you need to know to improve, I trust you have the best teacher on the PLANET, the way you play at 14. You're amazing. Don't listen to anyone on YouTube - ha!

I'm sure if you wanted their opinions, you would have asked for it.

    Great playing.

  • piano4life, Nah, instead of listening to Maurizio Pollini, I think he'd rather listen to YOU! Oh, that's right. YOU don't have any videos. Hey, Einstein, you have no idea how difficult this piece might be for a FOURTEEN year old. He's only 14! He'll learn from his TEACHER. Besides, I bet he's not playing this for YOU. So don't be a narcissist.

  • this piece is not very difficult.

  • and i got this when i was 12 in about a week. without much practicing. it is not difficult you just have to have the proper technique, you cant twist in the left hand other wise you are done

  • What, do you want fuckin cookie or what?

  • @gklipper i agree. of course it's still difficult, and takes much emotion to play well, but i'm a thirteen year old girl and can sightread it up to tempo without much pain. i think that this is one of the easier etudes. i guess it's MUCH harder for those with smaller hands, though (since i can reach 10 keys in each hand)

  • @gklipper yea dont twist wrist as in the motion when u wave to someone

rather ROTATE whole arm, wrist can be a bit high. every motion should be done with whole arm, no individual fingers otherwise.....INJURY

  • You are amazing and sound very professional. (i hope this transmits)

  • such beautiful hands and such a wonderful performance...

  • Great performance.

I am also learning this etude.

  • be carefull with the pedal because you are not playing quite legato.Use Half Pedal

  • ieronim2003, NO! YOU! This guys a genius. I"m sure he has a teacher, and I'm pretty sure his/her name is not IERONIM2003 either.

  • i was just suggesting.

I've played this etude 4 years ago i even played it in a master class so it's no need for you to tell me to shut up.People are allowed to have opinions if those opinions are good

  • Very good performance! I enjoyed the slightly slower tempo than I'm used to hearing. Very nice.

  • hey, very nice, how long do you play the piano ?!?!

  • ... a little over seven years.

  • very good. i think you should be play it with more dynamic

  • first class playing! very natural, melodious, non aggressive. gets a place in my top favourites!

  • Excellent performance.

this is one of my favourite chopin etudes.

  • You have great technique and expression.

  • Great job, Anthony.

Dad, is he taller than you now? Wow.

  • Dad here: yes, he is taller now. Scary thought.

  • This is excellent!! :)

  • Excellent! Enjoyed the dynamics, trill ornamentation, octaves. Great work.

  • That was beautiful!
