My favorite chapter in the whole game :3 the box puzzle never changes no matter how many times you play it. To avoid going through the whole mess of bird imps just write the answers to the puzzle in the back of the game book so next playthrough will be much easier

@hiphopstreet1 I read on Wikipedia that this game is banned in a few different countries (all European, I believe) because of its blatant show of animal cruelty and sexuality...although from what I've seen and read about RoR, it doesn't sound very sexual at all.

Mr. Hoffman, the headmaster at the orphanage, had an underlying, pedophilic relationship with Clara (age 16), one of the orphans. Although the game doesn't come out and say it, it is heavily suggested through symbolism and other little things. Just go watch the video, "Was Clara in Mr. Hoffman's Bed in the Mermaid Princess Chapter of Rule of Rose?" It explains everything.

@H536917 Here is an interesting notion she may not even be an adult. She says in the last chapter: "I thought I was the only grown-up but in the end we were all kids including me." In the last chapter and another point in the game both times we see her a bit wiser and more willingly defend herself. So maybe the reason we see her as an adult is because she see herself as one not because is one. Explaining her behaviour at some points.
