I have a 2004 F-150 FX4 with a 5.4. It is also a Supercrew built in Canada. It dies at 110. Same with my 2005 4.0 Mustang. But not anymore. Did some bolt ons and custom tuned. She has 269 hp and 348 ft/lb tourq at rear wheels. There is no limit now.
@sick6stang oh i found out that this truck used to have a super chip in it because on the computer there is a code coming up and from what i am told, its when the computer has been modified by a chip...so that could be it or inside the truck it may have died at 110-115 but the tires that are on it may have some affect as well. when i am doing 61MPH im really doing 70 so at higher speeds...maybe its going 120. i was going off the computer screen.
dude i know a dyno isn't for MPH. I got bored and put titles in the video because i was watching the tack on the monitor. Yes it did go over 100mph on a stock tune. Most trucks can go over 100 now....you are thinking back in the 90s when they would shut off at a 100. do some reading please.
@HellFire6006 Re-watched and saw it at the very end. The font was dark. Nice. My '04 was limited to 100 on the dot when it was on the stock tune. Everyone elses truck on a stock tune cant break 100, but alright.
@HellFire6006 No clue, maybe it depends on where it was built, maybe american built trucks are governed and canadian may not be? not sure. f150online people always report about gettign custom tunes to disable the governer.
