i use 20 lb. braid and i catch those huge 5-6 lb. fish i beleive in fishting the fish not just contant reeling thats pussy fishing. me and my dad use 50 lb. when we fish for stripers that are 30-40 lbs.
@66SiK It's just the fact that no matter how you look at it, it's completely unnecessary. Most people enjoy fighting the fish on light tackle. And even if you just want to gun it in, you don't need any more than 10-12 pound. This is OK for him, but it's terrible advice for anyone actually seeking it.

ive caught muskie on 10 lbs test that i got for like 2$ and this guys using 50-100Lbs??? give the fish a fair chance i mean come on really?
