For everyone concerned about ssh, there is alternative for file transfers to your i-device. Go to google and search for iPhone explorer and download it. It is much faster and takes only a few seconds to transfer big files, such as roms

if you dont want to ssh use iPhonebrowser all you have to do hook your ipod/iphone into your cpu and goto the program

Part 2: Although it did take me awhile to find a site to download ROMs from (games I already own of course), I downloaded them using Safari Downloader and again made sure they were put in the appropriate PSX folder using iFile. Once I did this, I downloaded Metal Gear Solid, put it in the ROM folder, started it up, crossed my fingers, and it loaded right up! It was even playing cut scenes (admittedly with a little lag). Download psx4all from the above source, install the BIOS file, and presto

Part 1: Actually, if you have iFile and Safari Downloader (purchased through Cydia), you don't need to SSH the files in at all. You can download the files (whether it's a ROM file or the BIOS file) right to the appropriate ROM folder by pressing and holding until it asks where you want to download the file. All I needed for this to work was to use Safari Downloader on my iPad to download the BIOS file, then using iFile, I made sure to put the BIOS file in my PSX folder that was under ROMs.
