I've learned that adding honey or a bit of sugar to your soaps will help with a bubbly lather! I made a sugar solution of 2 parts sugar and 1 part water, brought it to a boil so it became a syrup, and have been adding it to my soaps 1 tbsp. per 2 lb batch. I think it works!
No problem! I am still pretty new at this too but I find that you can't get much info out of anyone online. Soapmakers can be pretty stingy with their information, but I guess I understand why! Oh well... how are we gonna learn without helping eachother?
where do you get your milk? so far I haven't seen any animals at Nancywood except cats......and do you keep bees?

When you rebatch, does the scent of the original soap disappear or stay with the soap?

it depends. Sometimes it stays, sometimes it goes. i don't know what it depends ON though!
