But the crew decided to have fun with Shemar, and mess with the hinges, so the door would fall over when he kicked it instead of swing open. This is just one of many practical jokes they play on Shemar (others have included a rat in some rags he has to look through, someone dressed up in an Abominable Snowman costume running out of the woods at him, and a live grizzly bear rented for the day just to give Shemar a scare).
