This is the Guyana we need to promote to the world. Many only know of the horrific incident that took place in our beautiful beloved Guyana. Send it wide and far to environmental groups and televison networks. Thanks for posting. Carew
Dave, Thank you very much for the video, and there is no place like home sweet home, incidentally, micheal is my cousin, and we have great memories of mabaruma of my early childhood days ,indeed its we place.
Thank you for this wonderful nostalgic video, brought tears to my eyes as my brother and I spent many happy childhood August holidays on the Mabaruma Hill with Aunty Emily, Michael;s mom. Mike is my cousin whom I have not seen in years, thank you for this amazing beautiful video, what a treasure
This documentary took me on a trip down memory lane. I grew up in Mabaruma and have fond memories of the Kissing rocks and of making " ball" from those rubber trees in the "compound". Thank you for posting such a gem on youtube. ( Judith Baird)
it is heart-warming to witness this unspoiled and pristine Mabaruma in all its beauty and magnificence.
its lure and attraction can hypnotize the senses of even an insane man and push him to book passage for immediate travel to experience one of nature's surviving wilderness.
kudos to the venerable Dave Martins and his associates for producing this enticing teaser for all nature loving people.
Nostalgia...I was born in Matthews Ridge, my mom is from Barbina Hill. Lots of memories.
