It's all good, the only bit I see any problem with is the tone for the lead guitar, but that's hard to replicate. Seeing as he went out of his way to make it sound as much like a synth as he could, it's not a big deal haha

Have you heard the band Television? They have a similar sound to the Strokes (Well it's actually the other way around since they are older but whatever). If you do a cover of the song Marquee Moon or Elevation that would be awesome. Also The End Has No End! Good job mate. Cheers from a fellow Strokes fan.

to get the synthesizer guitar sound you turn the tone down to zero and use one of the pickups near the fretboard. other than the lead guitar the rest was good tho.

dude for lead guitar, try distortion rather than over drive, because it has more sustain. and turn reverb down, and turn on neck pickup
