@drkbowers lol well, it's actually quite logical to build a city in the middle of a desert. The city would essentially last forever and require less maintenance. Most cities today are located along the coast near water. The moisture in the air and salt from the ocean can corrode our buildings. If that goes unchecked, after several hundred years, maybe a thousand years, our buildings will all collapse and be absorbed into the environment. But in the desert where it's dry, our buildings are safe.

@patpatomegatron Not really. You see, in skyscrapers, they have very good air conditioning. As for water, that's what canals are for. Or you can always transport water from water sources through pipes. I'm pretty sure that's how Las Vegas (a city in the middle of the desert) gets its water. Food you can always import from other places. And big Sand Monsters can easily be repelled by giant satellite weapons from space. Gold City is very similar to Las Vegas in many ways.

@slRing127 yes Forge World. It will be the largest city map ever. Each island in Forge World will have as many skyscrapers as possible and all the islands will be linked together by bridges.
