Jump cuts cut down on a lot of "Ummms" and "Uhhhs" that can add unneeded minutes to a video. I personally like them, but too many can hurt a video as you've demonstrated. :D

my roommate just moved down to another floor. I have my own room for the moment during January Term. Now i find i will have another roommate. Despite my pleas for a single which were ignored. So, kinda pissed. So I can sympathize there. Also, the editing thing makes me crazy as well. Mainly because I just use QuickCapture on here rather than my camera for my videos, thereby eliminating the possibility for further editing.
