Well, Top Gear say it's 224mph, which is 358km/h. The problem is that nowhere specifies which model with what options can do that speed.

The big wing you can buy on them would limit its top speed, but this 650BHP one I doubt could do that top speed, for lack of power.

Yes, the F1 has only 627BHP and does 240.1mph, but it's extremely aerodynamic and built for that purpose, whereas the Apollo is meant to be a race car for the street, rather than being top speed purpose-built like the F1.

Power isn't everything. Looking at the Apollo, it's the perfect race car. Whereas the F1 is the perfect speed machine. And there is a big difference.

I saw this car at the Concorso Italiano last week: very impressive although boo on the Audi TT switchgear and it has a front lip/apron large enough to make climbing any incline a hassle. Also this video makes the car seem rather quiet inside and out (I never saw it run in person), is this an effect of the camera or is the car really that subdued?

Good question...they had to fill up quite often on the Gumball rally.

From San Francisco to Los Angeles (~400+ miles), they made 5 stops at different gas stations. But remember that they also drove very hard and even back roads.

I also asked them to bring it out to the Cars and Coffee show this past July 26...which ended up being the first public viewing. For Gumball, majority replaced their plates.

cross drilled rotors crack more easily. and slotted have a larger surface area but can still stay cool. blanks have the most surface area for stopping but build up a lot of heat and gasses. drilled have a smaller surface area but dissipate heat and gasses better. slotted is right in the middle of the two.
