That was the coldest June in the period from 1973 to the present, and it might never be surpassed on that, er, front.
Bath "Britain's second shopping city"? Was it ever? Surely only a certain upmarket sort of shopping, and even that would have been long overtaken now that Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds etc. have reinvented themselves. That bloke looks very young to be a Cyril.
