so far only a 14 flat with cooler pipe blown off...so had to back off, really havnt had the chance yet to put it on the strip in its new glory (all new piping, all sequential system removed, etc).

Yea you should probably expect mid 13's if you can launch it. Idk the weight of a MkIII but it should be close to that next spring if nothing else is done to it..

actually I'm expecting a mid 12 :) I dont have a problem launching (i've been racing other cars for some time)...just havnt had my supra on road much with going to US and back and all that jive.

When I get back I intend to take it to the strip and try and get that mid 12 (a little hot atm though so will see, ambient air temps are at like 100deg or hotter).

why would i lose my front? lol i love it and its genuine Do-Luck, albeit i've modded it a bit since this was taken...and on stock turbos i wont make anywhere near that, maybe 350 - 370hp @ 18 - 20psi...jdm turbos boosted too high just produce heat and fail, maybe if i had a set of USDM steel wheeled turbos and a USDM exhaust side cam I could attempt that but its cheaper to chuck a masterpower turbo on and get it over 500hp with my current fuel setup.

the GTE part on the end of the engine code denotes that it is turbo...so yeah its a TT swap using an aristo half cut for the donor. And its not hard per say, its just a head fuck when getting someone else to do it. if you intend to do it then it shouldnt be so bad.

280 hp is about average for a stock JDM 2j...its also the agree'd max HP on a japanese made vehicle (a gentlemens agreement japanese companies had).

with my issues fixed i am expecting to have over 350rwhp and thats with exhaust, cooler and a few other basic mods.

since you are probably a wikipedia expert this is a JDM 2jz, not a USDM 2jz...jdm were capped at 206kw under the japanese laws with 180km/h speed cut. I was having issues but aside from them this is a stock engine pretty much...so yeah. :)

12 psi, complete stock motor with aftermarket

front mount cooler (ebay)...this power was made with a plethora of problems though which will be soughted soon and i should be making close to 400 on stock JDM turbos with a fair chunk of work done. :)

I got it direct from japan...took 8 months to get after order and that supplier has since closed shop. :) Good luck though, I have only seen a couple cars with the same front and thne 2 or 3 with the same sides/rear.
