I kept thinking Pete Duel, Pete Duel... I remember that name. Then when the 2nd pic came up in this beautiful memorial it came back to me. Alias, Smith and Jones!!! I was only 10 when he died but I do remember! So sad.
Remember everybody: there are consequences to your actions. Everyone misses him and in a way I bet his death was an accident caused by alcohol and depression. I don't know. He could have been a leading man, he was so handsome! Beautiful tribute!
Pete Duel had that good guy quality you respected. in High School seeking your own principles..he was good escapism from High School egos..something personal to look at as a good direction of character example. Now in looking back, what I didn't think in articulation at the time, was what really drew me to him was his intelligent peaceful way that came across onscreen. Good looking, but a man of reason before ego.

To this day my parents have no idea how heartbroken I was, I secretly saved the article from the San Jose Mercury about Pete's death for a long time...he was my first big crush, and being a boy I knew damn well to keep my mouth shut about it. Now through the magic of the internet, I get to have alot of questions answered. RIP Pete!!! Thanks for posting.
