  • いつの時代もゼルダの子守唄はいい曲であって欲しいですね。

  • @Quadraxis First off: I cried my ass off at this part. Second: I salute u sir for kicking that guy's trolling ass- may we have more like you

  • Ah yes, this plays during the saddest part of the game.

  • I cry right here everytime

    especially because of this line...

Zelda: so im gonna ask you a favore sleepyhead...ever since we were kids, i would always be the one to wake you up. so when all this is over. would you please wake me up?

Link: I promise Zelda I promise...

    *Zelda turns into stone*

    Link...(cries)

    *Link walks away*

  • this melody always warms my heart

  • Zelda: I'm glad you've made it this far. :)

    Link: :D

    Zelda: We've traveled so far...

    Link: :D :D

Zelda: And now I'm gonna crystallize myself for 102094375765843947567658484767584393023020120103948587583923092020202 years,

    kthnxbai! *Seals herself*

    Link: D: GODDAMN YOU, NINTENDO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :@ :@

  • @thomas0corner You type repeat after youtube...

  • i love how they include the music with the game

  • I soooo want to get this!!!

  • @Moonstorm427 You need Wii motion plus to play though, just pointing that out.

  • ...I forgot the youtube annotation system; how do you make this loop?

  • @thomas0comer First put it on a playlist by...pressing "+ Add to' below the video, then once u have the playlist open... click the button that has the two arrows in a circle, also if you scroll over the buttons that one will say "Turn auto play on". as long as there is only one video on the playlist it will repeat itself...but if the is multiple videos then it will still play automatically in a loop, but the different songs/videos will play. Hope that helps :D

  • @matmat19831 Ah, thanks. I remember it's possible to add something to the URL and it automatically loops, but I don't remember how. This is a lot easier.

  • "I'm still your Zelda" Bawwwww!

  • when this started playing while link and zelda were saying goodbye, i almost freakin cried my eyes out.

  • Can you send my a link , where i can download the song ?? PLEASE ^.^

  • Should I get this game?

  • @BoomBrocoli Yes! I highly suggest that you do. I believe that anyone would love this game as long as they give it a try. (Unless, that person is an idiot who doesn't have good taste like some people I know.) It is by far one of the best games I've ever played, and will always be among my favorites.

  • @BoomBrocoli YES! its a great game

  • Comment removed

  • @tritanproductions

what the fuck are you even talking about

  • @tritanproductions its dramatic because its not some stupid online shooter. Its a fantasy game that tells and epic, dramatic story.

  • only time I felt truly like a hero in the whole game, like the adventure had more purpose and reason, most of it was just following Fi, but then this popped up and it reaffirmed by reason for the adventure.........saving Zelda then going to live with Item check girl.

  • I just saw this cutscene for the first time this morning. I was like :

    ZELDA!!!!

    (A few minutes later) Zelda's the goddess!!! :o Mind=Blown

What wait....no don't beat yourself up, it's not your fault, I would've saved you anyway.

    Zelda, what're you doing?

No, you can't sleep. We need you. I Need you!

ZELDA! (I cried when Link was pounding on the glass)

When I got back to the future, I stared through the crack in the door for five minutes

And all while this music played, I was grateful

  • @itselvesonly don't spoil it for everyone bud

  • Zelda+giant rupees=profit

  • 00:35 Epic feeling through entire body ensues...

  • SO A Few Day's ago I called Nintendo for some help with my Wii.

While i was waiting this was playing and i was all: "...Awwwww~ :D"

  • When Zelda sealed herself away, it wasnt the "darn, shes asleep untill i beat the game" that made me cry. It was the expression on Link's face that hit me TwT looked like his heart was crushed T_T

  • Has no one played this backwards yet?! I can't find it :(

  • Link, the one who is fit to bear all parts of the triforce is...Groose.

  • So sad when she seals herself inside an orange rupee :P.

  • @AlphaRamo I SCREAMED when she sealed herself in that orange rupee. I was mad because, first I played OOT and Ganondorf sealed her in a rupee, and (correct me if I'm wrong) in twilight princess the castle was in a gaint rupee and now this? AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

  • @Kittycat2786 yeah I know. but in twilight princess, was more like a force field. which kinda reminds me of a gold diamond shaped egyptian dune.

  • this is so beatiful lucky that i have that game that song make me tears :')

  • this...is the reason why i play video games <3

  • simply beautiful.....:')

  • @GrooseGuy The part in the game where this plays in an incredible moment. Quite possibly one of the best in video game history. I was touched. What do you think?

  • @marocel oh yeah i was touched to. this is by far my favorite video game.

  • I LOVE YOU ZELDA!!! O.O Did I say that out loud!?

  • Who else cried manly tears here? TT^TT

  • @Quadraxis not gonna lie dude i cried during this scene

  • @Quadraxis I didn't even cry manly tears. I curled up and cried into a pillow.

  • @Quadraxix By manly to you mean virgin?

  • @88razzman

Nope, I mean manly, as in manly-enough-to-admit-I-like-and-enjoy-sad-moments type of manly and not trolling-to-make-others-think-I'm-cool-while-I'm-actually-the-virgin-that-my-comment-refers-to- type of (not) manly.

You see razzman, real men aren't afraid of showing emotion.

Btw, did you know that the norwegian word "Rass" is slang for Ass? (referring to your name in case you're too dimwitted to see it). If you knew, I'll admit, it suits ya.

  • @88razzman by manly he means mature enough not to troll people's comments, grow up or get the fuck outta here.

  • @Quadraxis ME :,D i just love that she sed you ganed power by the mosters you sayed and wisdom by the puzzles you sove and courge by comeing here

  • @Quadraxis I did :/ lol the fi and link part wasnt that bad it got me when I saw the impa scene at the end I sure didnt expect that :'(

  • @Quadraxis I'm not gonna lie, I may have shed a manly tear. But only cause of the majesty of this music, and everything it means for the LoZ series (short answer - i did too).

  • I'm searching through the comments and their are some that are rather deep and some that are really, really cheesy.

  • @Majorasword64 haha i thought that aswell!

  • This scene was very sad and emotional, but then my sister ruined it.

  • The saddest cutscene i have ever seen :( and when Zelda said 'I used you' sweet jesus i don't even know what i felt :(

  • After Zelda was awakned I cry a little bit... then... grrr GHIRAHIM!!! Do you think what emotions I had?

    FURIOUS! OUTRAGED! SICK WITH ANGER!!

  • so link does talk, he responds to ppl "Am i late?" "I promise" "I will" "Protect Zelda"

  • @clubpenguinmarioify yes but it doesnt give him a voice to talk with...its still just silence for him

  • Zelda: Promise me you'll wake me up when this is all

over.....like when I did to you back in Skyloft.

    Link: I Promise!

    *turns to stone*

    Me: FFUUUUUUU ;(

  • So if you play the Ballad of the Goddess backwards, you get Zelda's Lullaby. And Zelda is the Goddess Hylia.

    Nintendo, I freaking love you.

  • @loopyflapjack i feel sorry for the retards who actually fall for this

  • @TheloyalArcanine I think it's an oboe and a flute going back and forth

  • what's playing the main tune? is it a flute?

it doesn't sound like an ocarina.

  • @TheloyalArcanine At the beginning, its a clarinet, then oboe, then flute, then oboe/bassoon doubling at the octave.

  • @TheloyalArcanine

    0:07 Clarinet

    0:21 Oboe

    0:35 Flute

    0:52 Oboe + Bassoon

    1:05 Flute + Bassoon

    1:20 Flute + Clarinet

  • @GilvaSunner It's amazing how many instruments they used for it, yet you don't even notice the difference when listening to it normally.

  • @GilvaSunner Whats the Stringed instrument?

  • @xmasknight94 I believe it is a Viola

  • @GilvaSunner did you kno that in spanish we call the basoon fagot?

but with a stress on the "ot"

  • @TheloyalArcanine

    Its a clarinet :)

  • once i get a wii-u, this the first game ill be getting

  • @GodzillaXAbudAwwal this is on Wii dude.

  • @bouchandre wii u's backward compatible and as of right now i have absolutely no intention for a wii since wii u's comin the end of this year

  • I was half expecting to hear the Ballad of the goddess backwards! HAHA! =D this is so beautiful when the cutscene ended I almost cried...=')

  • My heart was so saken when Zelda an Link spoke before she became a crystal. The model used for Link and Zelda in Skyward Sword is my personal favorite. The only bad ting about Skyward Sword is it actually ending! :')

  • the animation puts soo much emotion into this game

  • im still in that part like two hours only for this song.... because i can remember the N64 and my first game OOT thank you so much!!!

  • This song will be the last one I wanna listen too when I die...

I can remember already at the age of three I played the N64 along with all the great classics.

So I goes you could say... that I opened life with this song and will end it with this song.

My last words will be: Nintendo... let us meet again....In heaven :)

  • No other video game company in the world, can match the beauty Nintendo puts into their music. To me music is something that goes a long way in video games. How it moves the scene or area, and how it reacts to your emotions. They nail it every time...

  • Link, Zelda, Impa, Fi, Ghriahim, Demise, Groose, Beedle, Luv, Pipit, Faron, Eldin, Lanyaru, Levias, Pumm, Kina...

If you really played and enjoyed Skyward Sword you love all of them (exept maybe Ghirahim and Demise...)

A real SS - fan would love them anyway... Do you ?

  • @MrSkyflycrucio Of course... To me, ghirahim was one of the most unique villians... not because he is that bad guy trying to get at you, but just his mysteriousness of why he exists in the first place. Demise however, is twisted, hated, and terrible. For that... i love him.

  • I cried during this scene. NBD.

  • listen to it backwards :3

  • This is random but I just looked up the Zelda Timeline from Hyrule Historia to find: I WAS RIGHT FROM THE START ON THE TIMELINE~

*fanboy squeal* I correctly identified which games followed either the Adult Era, Child Era, Declining Hyrule Era and the Pre-Ocarina of Time Era before the official timeline was ever released!

Take THAT all you fools that said I was wrong! *maniacal laughter as I put on my Zora Tunic and slash the air with a cardboard Master Sword*

  • Skyward Sword: I'm still your Zelda.

Twilight Princess: I'll... see you later.

    Me: Damn tearjerkers... :'(

  • I will openly admit this scene made me cry.

  • And now we know why it's called a Lullaby. So very sad...yet beautiful.

  • This is so beautiful, I wish I could replay the whole game without remembering a thing, because this game was the best gaming experience I think I'll ever have, thank you nintendo, thank you.

  • OMGGG YES !! ZELDA'S LULLABY FROM THE OCARINA OF TIME !!! And even Impa's standing in the background, like how she did in the palace garden. History repeats itself :')

  • Old memories come up it remembers me very at the of time legend of Zelda Ocerina of Time <3

  • I chose I Promise (I think)

This and the Holding hands at the End of Spirit Tracks are the best Zelink moments

  • This game was really well made and I think it really deserves a score of 10! The music is beautiful, the story is well said and its very very sad, the gameplay is incredible including the wiimotion for the sword, etc! This game was really worth playing and it was really good and beautiful! Zelda is even so beautiful is this version of TLOZ! Both OOT and SS are really good!!! :D

  • omg, when Zelda said "I'm still your Zelda" is the best line in the whole damn series XD

  • @RMalla i wish i could favourite ur comment, its soo true :')

  • This is my favorite version, because of the subtle melody variation

  • I currently own goosebumps. I promised to wake up zelda! Ya' know what? I did too. :D

  • I chose "I promise" at this point. Hearing this music from childhood and with this VERY sad moment in the game, I had to promise zelda that I would wake her up. I didn't have the heart to choose anything else.

  • @KingIchigo at last... SOMEONE WHO THINK THE SAME WAY AS ME!!!

Yesterday, I had the feeling that zelda was talking to me, not Link. It gave me the power to continue... Now I'm in a talk with the dragon of thunder, Lanayru.

  • @FallenStarXoX Have you tried the Lightning Round?

  • This Zelda was really different. She wasn't just a royal person who rules over Hyrule or someone that is in a disguise who watches over us. She's just a friend of ours who's there for us and assisting us through our courses. Zelda is a special friend to Link and Link is lucky to have someone to watch for him. This is why I enjoy SS. The story of how it is all a twist and how the character is much different from the Zelda games we play before.

  • :'(

    That is all.

  • Remember when Zelda was talking about how Link gained power by overcoming monsters, wisdom by solving puzzles, and courage by never backing down from either? And how that made him worthy to use the Triforce?

She wasn't talking about Link. She was talking about YOU. The player. You are the hero of legend. Yours is the unbreakable spirit. You are the one destined to wield the Triforce.

THAT is what makes The Legend of Zelda special. It's not about Link, it's about all of us.

  • ONETHOUSENDANDEIGHTY p

  • Link: Zelda... I..I.. I Promise

*zelda turns to sleep in stone*

    Link: *looks and cries*

    me: OOOOHHH HOW SAD

  • @zeldagamelover24 T~T Just listening to this brings back the memory, I couldn't help myself from crying at that part..

  • @NightmarePegasus me too

  • Io amo questa canzone ç_ç La suono più o meno al pianoforte <3

I love this song ç-ç I play it on the piano (more or lessXD)

  • This song sounds amazing now.

  • Here I was, always thinking how beautiful the flute was, but how it always got shoved aside for a violin or piano in all media, but then...then I heard this version of Zelda's lullaby, a flute and violin duet...it's how it was meant to be...

  • @RurouniZakruo Uh, not to burst your bubble or anything, but on the duet part (and most of the song) it's mostly clarinet...

  • I think Skyward Sword is the best Zelda game since Ocarina of Time. The soundtrack of the game is wonderful, and I stay at the File Select screen just to hear the song. In my opinion, Skyward Sword is one of the best games I ever played.

Nintendo made my childhood, and still making my adolescence.

  • @Acme170 I Agree =)

  • I wont be surprised if this song plays in heaven. :P

  • I cant believe people say that this is the worst Zelda game.... Honestly I think this one was great in fact its my all time favorite. Thank you for actually having faith in a game series nintendo.

  • Whether Zelda is a princess or not, this will always be her theme!!! :D So pretty! Makes me wanna cry.

  • Thank you, Nintendo. <3

  • Will Rogers once said: "If there are no dogs in heaven, I'm not sure I want to go"

I feel the same way, except with skyward sword's music instead of dogs.

  • anyone else find it ironic that this song plays when zelda wakes up?

  • This version is nice, but I still like the TP and OOT better.

  • Peaceful music.

  • Wish fi was more useful and interesting then to keep blabbing on about "HEY LINK DERP THAT DOOR IS LOCKED SO ITS PROLLY 70% CHANCE YOU NEED A KEY TO OPEN IT" i mean seriously, what's the 30%, a like-like?

  • @pepepenetrate Oh shut up, this track isn't even Fi-related anyways...

  • @ComboLeafster i should've added that this was a really perfect game to me with the exception of that.

  • @pepepenetrate Dude Fi is more helpful than that. After all SHE IS YOUR MAIN WEAPON.

  • Zelda music makes me feel all happy and nostalgic inside even though I've only been a fan since late July...

  • Half the fun of listening to songs on youtube are reading the top comments.

  • gives me chills ahaha

  • They play this right before she is crystallized and falls asleep. Fitting...

  • 2 bokoblins,ghirahim and demise disliked XD

  • Ghirahim, Demise, Ganondorf, Vaati and Dark Link disliked this :p

  • I'm trying to decide which song in this game gave me the most chills. It's pretty much a toss-up between this and the retro music that plays in the middle of the credits, which sent me back to playing LttP as a kid. One thing is for sure, though: I am a Zelda man til death, and I know I'm not alone :)

  • Playing this game was worth it JUST to hear this version of the song.

  • Who would dislike such a great song ?!?!

  • This game is not for kids. It's for us. We spent our childhood saving princess Zelda. Dreaming about becoming a true hero. This is the game where we get to see how it all started. We the birth of a hero and the master sword. It's not just a game. It's not just a story. It's a legend.

  • @1991DBZfan the legend of zelda

  • @1991DBZfan true... although, id like to see a game about the very beginning... the pirate princess that got to hyrule, the first zelda.... the one they mention in at least spirit tracks... yeah, that would be wonderful.

  • Comment removed

  • @XNovaSpartan true, but they say that zelda is the ancestor to an pirate queen... am i right?

  • @randomnesforus ...That is what Wind Waker was about...Tetra was another Zelda and a Pirate Queen :P

  • @1991DBZfan oh my... this almost made me cry with the music xD

  • @1991DBZfan Hearing this and reading i cry dude.......

  • @1991DBZfan and here's hoping it doesn't rape my childhood when I play it :D

  • @1991DBZfan yes this post speaks truth. too bad i wasn't born at it's reception...but ever since Ocarina of Time...I have been in love.

  • @1991DBZfan you dam rights man im wana get me zelda games and relive my childhood

  • @1991DBZfan

    Calm down buddy

  • @1991DBZfan wow

  • WHYYYY does this always make me cry... ;-;

  • I cried ........ :C?

  • @TwillightSparkle I may be a man but i did to this i a good game i played it :)

  • Comment removed

  • @TwillightSparkle Oops forgot to put s in is well thats enough.

  • @TwillightSparkle Yes dude..........

  • Sleepyhead....

  • Comment removed

  • i promise :'(

  • Brings me back to '98

  • This song reminds me of the first time I met the princess in the courtyard ahhh good times

  • I'm a dude, this was frikkin difficult to not cry to this scene + music.

  • I just went to this scene today, and... my god, man, I really started crying when they showed a sleeping Zelda. Not in a *sniff* *sniff* way, but I just cried out loud! As if I couldn't control my crying! ..Then I regained my power, like Link did in this scene.

  • First Link and Zelda are THE BEST and the original.

  • I think this was really the only Link that expressed any inner pain. TP he was either confused or mesmerized, or determined. OoT/MM he only had neutral and Happy. WW was very expressive, but only showed sadness when his sister was kidnapped, and all that was was frustration. SS Link almost CRIED in this installment!

  • @Thegreatarrowguard12 u have earned my respect

  • @Thegreatarrowguard12 i can only disagree your view od oot and mm. rather than neutral or happy, in OoT i believe it was determination, because he was givin the title hero of time so quick, no choice. and MM to me it felt like he was the worlds savior and only he knew it. all the hopeless people of Termina were in his hands, but in everyone elses eyes, hes just a kid.
