Sitchin's arguments are compelling. I find only those who want to blindly defend their religious beliefs have problems with considering the possibility of the ancient "gods" being extra-terrestrial. It is no coincidence that all religions through history have simply assumed the fact that their god or gods came from the sky. Why not from the bowels of the earth? The sky/stars are the home of the "gods".

@lbawop LOL, the context thing doesnt work like that until a language has developed to the point of split linguistics.

If you have cultures that have separated and developed for a few hundred years independently on different sides of the globe speaking the same language of course the language is going to develop unique linguistics that may be different in context though they are the same word.

Sumerians were in one location. So in Sumer, MU is Sky.

I think man has amnesia when it comes to our TRUE history - and has been brain washed by every religion that pounds their belief systems into people. So much of the evidence from archeology has been suppressed b.c of our lack of understanding it, or even believing what we are finding, that the a true representation cannot start to be put together. All i'll say is that Sitchin bases his arguments on his personal interpretations of pre-Nubian and Sumerian texts, and the seal VA 243. Sitchin wrote that these ancient civilizations knew of a twelfth planet, when in fact they only knew five. Hundreds of Sumerian astronomical seals and calendars have been decoded and recorded, and the total count of planets on each seal has been five.

Good book indeed. Concrete evidence that Islam and Christianity bolth derive from Sumerian religion and infact all religion does. Of the object(s) found in the 1983 IRAS Survey none were eventually found to be "Nibiru" but were distant galaxies...Astronomical imaging technology is always improving and people make mistakes...

Most of the time Sitchen quotes which tablet he is translating from. Every tablet he has translated from was already translated by the ETCSL and has Lexicons.
