I watched this while muted: I prefer the iPhone 4 for true color. iPhone 4S for image stability (but not a big issue for me) iPhone 4S struggled with the ceiling light test, flickering in the footage, although it does seem to better in low light situations. I usually to some post editing so you can beef up iPhone 4 footage to match iPhone 4S stability and low light quality quite easily. Both great HD quality, both are great in my opinion, just my 2 cents.

The iPhone 4 picks up infrared light while the 4s filters it out. However the 4s has a wider aperture. The 4s is better but not perfect. Considering it's a cell phone I would rate it as amazing. The major downfall for me is having to stand back 10 feet to take a video. For a dual core phone idk why they don't allow video capture of the whole sensor and then sample it down to 1080 or even 720.

In the second scene, the red carpet is actually red and not a darkened variant of the red. This is very good stuff. The difference is clearly noticeable. It may not be much but for someone that wants the most balanced picture and best colors, this video definitely displays a difference between the two. Thanks!

He is not using a superzoom, it's a wide field view, he is moving a lot, so a few centimeters left or right can't generate that color temperature difference ... I'd rather say the white ballance processing or setting is different on the two devices.

Video Stabilization is a software enhancement. ( its not Optical stabilization) The algorithm should work fine on iPhone4 and ipad2. (they are powerful enough) Why would apple restrict the feature to only 4S? Thumps up if you know the answer.
