Great presentation! I especially like your choice of that Disneyland recording. It brought back memories of when I owned a copy of the vinyl LP as a child!

This is SO well done! It looks like a real village in which a person could walk! The lighting, the sound effects, the narration in the beginning are all perfect! A clever, imaginative and fun way to showcase your incredible Dept 56 houses! I LOVED it! Thank you for sharing!

AMAZING!!!! I am so jealous. I collect spooky town and dept 56 stuff for halloween to make stop motion animation and just for fun! But wow, great collection!

thats an awesome village!!! and i love the lighting! my village has a lot of those pieces and i love the house it shows at 2:15 because thats one of the first department 56 halloween pieces and the first one i got!!!

yeah when i lived in an apartment 4 years ago i only took it out for halloween, but since i moved i have it set up in the basement all year round because all the time im buying new pieces and adding them in

That is so COOL! I'm not even going to start one! LOL I also do this as a hobby, but mine is a Christmas Village and it grows every year. :) If you get a chance check out my 'Polar Express Christmas Village' video.

Where did you get this recording? I can still recite this album word for word. The copy I had since I was about 5 was stolen when I was in high school. I'm in my mid 40's now, so it's been a while. I must have this album back.

I bought a copy on Ebay several years back and copied it to cd. It is Chilling, Thrilling Sounds of the Haunted House by Disney.
