I haven't seen many Ohta-San performances, but it seems he treats the ukulele more like a small guitar instead of playing it in the traditional Hawaiian way.
I'm not sure if Ohta-san treats the ukelele like a guitar, but he plays anything from any genre on the ukulele with his brilliant arrangement. IIRC the reason why he chose the ukulele as his instrument was it was small enough to carry :)
Thanks for posting.

Anyone else with thoughts about this?
