Did anyone notice that Alton's "vodka" bottle at 07:19 very strongly resembles a Beefeater Gin bottle? Not that I'm complaining, I'm much more partial to gin than Vodka myself.
Anyone else having proplems loading the second part of this...Im trying to replicate the slow cooker recipe but i cant find the second half of this anywhere. Whenever i try to view the second part is says scripps has blocked you from viewing this in your country???
I LOVE that they put in more things to DO with the ingredient!
Not like "Eat This Rock" (They could at least have reviewed Salt Crusting from ther first fish show and Brining science from the Turkey Show). or Tortilla Reform. (The fans actually MADE them make the second one with more recipes). Good eats works best when they MIX Science with cooking like they do in this episode!
with pepper vodka, could you use instead pink, green, or white peppercorns.

He's totally right. Freshly cracked pepper kicks the ass of anything pre-ground.

I am totally going to try this some time. Besides Bloody Marys, are there any other cocktails that might benefit from pepper vodka?
shuboy05 2 years ago
Yes. the Caesar Cocktail. That would be really tasty.

Obscure Beatles reference: his associate Mr. Kite is a reference the song "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite". (I had to Google it.)
