The good old days when Heartbeat was first existant.

I miss Greengrass as he was what personified the comedy in Heartbeat for me, and I also miss Oscar Blaketon as a Sergeant.

Heartbeat was far better in the good old days.

I can't believe this show has been axed. I live in Australia and loved watching it until Channel 7 decided 3 years ago to remove it from their schedule! We may still have about 3 or 4 seasons to watch in Australia when Channel 7 get their act together! Heartbeat has been running for about 15 years, so how come its still the 60's? Surely its the late 70's now?

I love it, it's still essential Sunday night viewing. I even went on holiday to Goathland (the real Aidensfield) last year, it's like stepping back in time.

Good for you, I don't think its lost its touch, as of march 23rd there are 334 episodes and on April 10th this year, it will be 16 years since the first episode was broadcasted.
