Drug is a stupid word for what hallucinogens really are. people shouldnt take them lightly, or because theyre bored. theyre technologies, you wouldnt try to drive a starship if you had no idea how to operate yourself first would you? or wield a magical wand if you didnt know how to be safe using it? so sad people dont know the difference between drugs and shamanic technologies.
I think it's great that LSD does good things for people. but the one time i did it, i took 4 hits by myself in my room one night... It was the most horrible event in my life... I was scared of the lack of control and my mind showed me things that i never could have imagined in my worst nightmares... But i think im happy my first time was bad because now i know im ok with not doing drugs again.
@WesternWheels Not all people control their minds the same , or even have the same thought patterns . Im lucky to think that it fits me and works with me with such greatness .Some people might think you took it in one of the worst situations you would want to be in after after that much LSD .
You could say that lots of people would still be around if they didn't drive cars because they died in an automobile-related accident and it'd be just as true and congruent with your statement. Does that mean that cars are no good and shouldn't be advertised/used? Of course not. Accidents happen under all sorts of circumstances & to all kinds of people. And I would imagine that Dan wouldn't have become the Dan so many were inspired by if he hadn't used those drugs. But that's just me...
well if you argue like this everything you do can be dangerous, but my point is that you choose do to drugs, you know it's dangerous. and especially intelligent and nice people like dan and joe sure don't need them. it's everyone's own decision, i just hate to see great people dying just because of drugs.

Dude it's damn near impossible to overdose on real LSD-25, you'd need a dose upwards of 14,000 micrograms to even edge dangerous territory. An average dose on the street is between 20-80 micrograms, you do the math. And i'm inclined to believe the person that was actually there when it happened and she says it wasn't an overdose. You weren't there, i wasn't there, the media wasn't there, so i'm gonna believe her before anyone else.
@dane8802 theres a few reports of people taking a gram of crystal lsd and their fine and also most thumbprint doses range from 30 to 50 mg so its even safer than you think
but he would still be here if he didn't do drugs.. i thought maybe after his death his girlfriend (and his brother) would think about that, but no. i'm very sad and shocked he's dead, but drugs are no good and shouldn't be advertised.
@dane8802 ya i snooped around the internet a bunch and im pretty sure it wasn't acid that he OD'd on.... :,( i dont think toxicology has gone through yet but whatever it was, I wish it was never created so maybe he wouldn't have died...

@dane8802 Actually In the case of LSD, the LD50 for man has never been determined. That's how safe LSD is.
