I know that an Enzo will not even compair to this car. The Saleen has 750 BHP and more with the competition package. Like 1400 if you want. I think that when the S7 goes out of production it will cost more than an Enzo. The price for the S7 is around 650K and the Enzo costed 600K from the factory. Now they are like 2M!
any terms o comparison between F1 and saleen and especially any other supercharged car with a capacity larger than 6000cc is pretty much irrelevant...F1 is a masterpiece of engineering or an asporated engine, handling (although I don't claim it to be the most handling supercar). saleen, veyron, koeniggseg are in their one way extraordinary cars...but they were also build many years later than F1
and still is close to the top of performance.Take veyron or instance...it has a monstrous engine 1001 bhp and is capabable of 407km/h the F1 has 627 bhp and can do 391km/h.I think is pretty much revealing the difference how close it gets to veyron with an engine half the size of veyron's wich is 4 times supercharged, the saleen is twice supercharged at an engine at about 7000cc and I and I'm not that sure it handles better than the F1.
Have you ever read Gordon Murray's review of the Bugatti Veyron? He compares it to the McLaren F1... supposedly, if the McLaren F1 had the same HP as the Veyron, it could reach 289mph!!!

The Enzo and the F1 are both V12s that rev about 2000rpm higher. The F1 I will say is an amazing car, but a horrible track car. The enzo was a mistake. A v12 puting out 650hp, while the S7TT V8 can put out 1035, and still kill both of them on the track.

I was led to believe that the carrera's acceleration was inferior to that of the enzo, and the acceleration of enzo was identical to that of the mclaren until the 4th or the 5th gear where the mclaren is superior...as or the slr I know it's slower than the enzo
you might think that the SLR corners better, but that is probably because it is easier to control. The Carrera GT is a beast, but if you're good enough, it will actually be faster around a circuit than an SLR... check the Nurburgring and the Top Gear Power Lap board.

No street legal car can beat the veyron to 60; that's true. But the ultimate aero does a quarter mile in 9.9 to the veyron's 10.2. Not trying to get into this epic argument, just giving some info.
Ok, first of all, looks are opinion, so don't fight using that. Second of all, nothing will DUST the Veyron. It's not the fastest 0-60 accelerating car or the best cornering, but it's pushing limits that can't be pushed much farther, so nothing will DUST it. It has amazing acceleration and pretty good handling, and it also has good traction.
This actually looks like the S7 Twin Turbo Competition because of the rear wing. This car has 1035 hp. Faster than the Veyron and possibly faster than the SSC Ultimate Aero.
Yeah its been proven that the Ultimate Aero can go at least 256 but no one has tested the Saleen Competition's top speed. The regular S7 Twin Turbo is estimated at 248. Add 285 hp to that and it could possibly go 260.
but with 750 horses he should b looking at atleast a high to mid ranged 9 in the quarter. friends sc vette with 534 rwhp can do a low 10. lol and he has paid under $50,000

the veyron is marketed as a super-car when the sheer weight of the thing keeps it from ever being able to do any real dammage on the track. it is a beautiful luxury car and should be marketed as such, (just like Mabach sticks to their guns by saying they are, quite arguably, the most extravagant luxury car on the market, but even they don't matchup to bugati's outrageous prices).
If you are talking about what I think you are then I'm not so sure that's turbo lag. Sounds to me like he dropped the clutch then let off the gas (bogged it down) to gain traction. Then once the wheels hooked up, or so he thought, he got on it again. If it was turbo lag we'd still hear engine noise, but instead it is just silent for a second or two.
you are a dip , who cares about turbo lag on a SUPER CAR. it doesnt matter if the guy gets 2 feet away cause he will see your tail lights in about a half a second once those turbos start spooling.

The CCR had a Ford engine with 650 hp. the CCX has an engine made by Koenigsegg pumping out 806hp with 91 octane, 850hp with 98 octane and 900 running on E85 Ethanol.

Because ethanol has a higher octane rating, ignition timing can be advanced even more and compression can be raised quite a bit, too. Therefore, more power is possible so long as the motor is built for it.

Yes it did to 200. But it has no traction and got dusted by the Veyron all the way through the 3/4 mile. Road and Track. Plus it had no cats on.On real US streets the 1100 has no chance. I like the 1100 but it"s as classy as a whore on SM Blvd.

The 1100 Looks better!!!!! What have you been smoking brother. I've seen both and the Viper looks like a swap meet special compared to the Veyron. Not to mention the cheap interior and burn your legs side exhaust. Once again in a any quarter mile race the Veyron(spell it right) dusts the Viper. On public roads AWD rules. The S7 is way better than the Viper and will win in a quarter race, Nuff said.

Okay. You switched cars. And someone else made a comment about the 1100.Yes the Aero did 256.19 mph according to Guinness. Beat the Veyron. where are the quarter times on it? Try putting the power down on the street to get a decent run. The Interior is cheap and uncomfotable according to reviews. The S7 is still way better than an Aero.See second comment.

Then why do they call them street legal cars???? Everybody I know has raced on the street at sometime. The Veyron puts all the power down the fastest. No street legal car can beat it in the 0-60 and quarter times. Even your beloved Aero. A car is about the overall package not just top speed son. Drive a few fast cars to learn this. You fail to grasp the overall aspects of a cars overall package.

No need for the rude comments. I never said I knew more than you but it's all about putting the power down. The ZO6 is a great car besides a few cheap touches. I had a 405HP 2003. I also have owned a '01 Cobra, and '97 500HP SS Camaro and now a own a '07 RS4.Raced all of them. The RS is easily the best all around package.I've beaten a '07 C6 and a Maserati to 120. The Veyron is by far the best overall Exotic in the World. Do your research and read about it.

Also, learn the difference between "fastest" and "quickest". "fastest" is top speed, "quickest" is arriving to top speed. the veyron is quickest, but the aero is the fastest.

Ok, first of all, looks are opinion, so don't fight using that. Second of all, nothing will DUST the Veyron. It's not the fastest 0-60 accelerating car or the best cornering, but it's pushing limits that can't be pushed much farther, so nothing will DUST it. It has amazing acceleration and pretty good handling, and it also has good traction.

This actually looks like the S7 Twin Turbo Competition because of the rear wing. This car has 1035 hp. Faster than the Veyron and possibly faster than the SSC Ultimate Aero.

Yeah its been proven that the Ultimate Aero can go at least 256 but no one has tested the Saleen Competition's top speed. The regular S7 Twin Turbo is estimated at 248. Add 285 hp to that and it could possibly go 260.

tyree: $ is no option when you want higher than high performance. if you love street racing like i do, the little things make all the difference. take a look at the new bugati. possibly the lamest car i've seen in my life with a 1.3 million dollar price tag(it's awful perty though). steve saleen did mention that although he is retiring, saleen will continue to run under his name for the next 8 years. after that, who knows

the veyron is marketed as a super-car when the sheer weight of the thing keeps it from ever being able to do any real dammage on the track. it is a beautiful luxury car and should be marketed as such, (just like Mabach sticks to their guns by saying they are, quite arguably, the most extravagant luxury car on the market, but even they don't matchup to bugati's outrageous prices).

If you are talking about what I think you are then I'm not so sure that's turbo lag. Sounds to me like he dropped the clutch then let off the gas (bogged it down) to gain traction. Then once the wheels hooked up, or so he thought, he got on it again. If it was turbo lag we'd still hear engine noise, but instead it is just silent for a second or two.

1/4 mile is 10.5 sec. at 145 m.p.h, the 0-100 time is 5.9 sec. this thing goes 0-100-0 in 11.2 sec. hope this helps you out

The CCR had a Ford engine with 650 hp. the CCX has an engine made by Koenigsegg pumping out 806hp with 91 octane, 850hp with 98 octane and 900 running on E85 Ethanol.

Because ethanol has a higher octane rating, ignition timing can be advanced even more and compression can be raised quite a bit, too. Therefore, more power is possible so long as the motor is built for it.
