  • Cruel from Sherlock not to answer.

  • Beautiful!

  • 2 people don't like this: Moriarty and Moran xD

  • Very well done, fantastic editing to merge the two episodes.

  • All of my feelings...

  • did no other tv series or movie include this episode? Apart from the russian one.

  • @greengrendel I don't know, but they will. Both Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, and the second series of BBC's Sherlock are bound to end this way within the next month.

  • @amberjane9 likely. ...within the next month? Sherlock's coming out in january? I forgot. Yay!

  • I truly enjoyed this and the music is perfect the best sherlock holmes ever and wonderfull scene thanks so much for posting

  • This is a wonderful video. What is the name of the music piece that you used? It's wonderful.

  • Brilliant, no other word, absolutely brilliant

  • @RachTrinity Thank you very much!!

  • @lyerlyreddwarf you are very welcome. Jeremy Brett - well, I often think of his performances, his life, personal and professional - and this piece this hauntingly beautiful piece (which was played at his actual funeral) takes me to so many places. He was an amazing actor, the ONLY Holmes and I have never seen a better video of my Sherlock, Brett or Watson - I am not a crier, but I admit, on this one...Thank you again for taking the time to care so much. Rachel

  • BRILLIANTLY DONE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this might be sort of a stupid question, but forgive me, i'm sort of a newbie to holmes (started with the 2010 Downey/Law movie), and i'm familiar with Holmes' "death" at Reichencach... but I dont get in this version of the movie why he's just sort of sitting there chilling while his BFF's going through agony... could anyone clear that up: just why he didnt try harder to tell watson he was still alive? itd be much appreciated. :)

    lovely vid, though :)

  • @argetlamgirl711 Everyone was a newbie once, m'dear. :3

The reason he doesn't try harder to tell Watson is because Moriarty's confederates were still after him. It was easier for him to weed them out if the world thought he were dead. Holmes knew that if Watson knew he was alive, he wouldn't have written so convincing an account of his "death". Not to mention revealing himself would put Watson in further danger as well. To get a better handle, read/watch "The Empty House." Hope that helped! :D

  • @TheSleepingSage

Ahh yes, it makes sense now. Thanks!

  • @argetlamgirl711 No problem at all. Glad to be of some assistance!

  • @argetlamgirl711 Welcome to the Baker Street Irregulars argetlamgirl! ;) As you can tell, Jeremy Brett is our only Holmes..and Doyle our Holmes only story teller - but if that one film of Downey's did anything at least it brought folks here to the real Sherlock, it's always nice to meet new folks. When you watch the Empty House and he sees Watson...let me know your reaction. He also was waiting for the Col to reveal himself ...Happy Hunting..

  • @RachTrinity I agree heartily! Brett is the only real holmes, and a most interesting and touching man.

  • I find the way you mixed the two episodes really remarkable. I like very much, too, your precise and clear explanations. The video is very beautiful and deeply moving. Bravo!

  • Thank you so much for your wonderful comment!

  • Thank you very much!!

  • Excellent video! 5*
