High Falls of the Cheat River

Yes great swimming when the water is warm enough - That's late June to late August its doable. If you down below looking up the best spot to jump or go over is to the right side - oposite of the RR traX - The side by the deck is a little shallow - I have jumped over there when it was very low and clear and I could see the only spot that was deep enough.

One of my favorite places on the Cheat. I have spent lots of time there.

This is truely one of the pretty spots. High Falls are about 16 ft from top to bottom. Can jump in off that center rock. Long hike. Or take the train in.

it's actually possible if you like running waterfalls. probably at higher water you could blast it straigh down the middle...most people carry it for obvious reasons
