Well today's music is utter shit. Everything's changed & Madonna-style shock tactics to veer attention away from a highly questionnable product & boyband/girlband sick blandness is the order of the day. It's buy the packaging, sod the product & sadly all these little arseholes get almost as rich as their labels, unlike the 80s where most killed themselves for their work, but got ripped off anyway. Back in the 80's my older sister had bone marrow cancer aged 10, my mum would sing to this song in her car during her long trips into hospital, and pray to god for a miracle that my sister would be safe and well. 25 years on, my sister is here and healthy. Istill hear this song regularly on the radio and it always brings me to tears, i even text my mum to tell her its on the radio.
