I never saw this trailer at the time but when I heard there was going to be a Lion King 2 I was over the moon. I remember seeing a clip of it on the UK show Disney Time, the bit where Kiara, Kovu, Timon and Pumbaa chase the birds. I assumed at the time that Kovu was Simba's son and wondered how he could have turned out not knowing what fun was.

I remember seeing this when I was ten and I instantly got worried because I immediatley thought Simba would go the way of Mufasa.
