  • It's not easy, we had to put in a new radiator and cut into the firewall.

    Uhm you will probably need more because the transmission is bigger.

    And your axels are to weak, so you will need other axels too.

    i have an 85 - the tranny slipping in 4th but I think it is because the vacuum hoses are on wrong - but it could just be the trans - anyway - - how much to do the swap and how much u sell it for?

  • with the 350 motor there is next to no wires .if you do a swap hiding the wires wont be an issue cause literally theres less than a handfull to worry about .

I just put down a deposit on the Regal and I think it will turn out to be an epic car. I'd say go with the Camaro, Mustangs are too commonplace and I just hate Eclipses period.

  • yea dude look up the toyota 1uzfe engine its a DOHC 4liter all aluminum v8 they hold from 1000-1200hp with stock internals thats why i switched to toyota.

  • Yea im having trouble blowing up trannys, but i got a sun coast tranny on order and its guarenteed not to break, no matter what hp or torque you throw at it. After that goes in im putting the ATS compound turbo setup on it.

  • its a 350 no question...i have a 1980 gmc sierra classic 350 w/ valve covers and an edelbrock carb just like that...its a mild engine thats why it doesnt sound like a v8...mine sounded almost exactly like that before i got a cam...but i know it doesnt have 400 horsepower that i DO KNOW. I got a cam and its only making about 275 ponies so a manifold and a couple of other dodads just isnt gonna cut it...but nice truck

  • it's definitely a 350 smallblock looks like a older model of the engine though, pre-'84? Whats the motor originally from? old 350 vette engine? maybe an old 350 camaro engine? I'd love you see a video with a bit better sound quality and a rev up by you moving the throttle. The white/teal paint is awesome, i really love that tropical look on it.

  • I'm not sure exactly what comes in it but i know it's a v8. I'm not planning to do much to the c10's engine except clean it up and make everything look good under the hood. I'm mostly interested in just bagging it,swapping the rims,and painting it. Nothing too major to it. I was thinking about one day airbagging a trailer so it lays out though.. =P

  • Yea i want a turbo on it which is why i'm upgrading all the internals later. I'm pretty sure 21 year old pistons and stuff would crumble into a million pieces if u put a turbo on the engine lol. If i could i'd go as far as twin turbo because i've seen that on second generation blazers. Have you heard of s10forum?

  • I have one of me trying to crank it. I can't get any power unless i hotwire it to the coil and even then i don't get power to my spark plugs. It's being a real headache but for $300 cash you have ot kinda expect that. I love it though. And when i check it was said to get 150hp. I would love to pull the kinda horsepower you're getting but out of a 4.3

  • Nah...i'm airbagging mine and doing a bunch more to it then i'll get around to my engine. Even then i'm keeping my 4.3 and just rebuilding it with new internals and then putting some horsepower increasing stuff on it. I like the idea of 350's in first gen s10's but i'm partial to my 4.3

  • not sure of a top speed yet, maybe 110? (only a 3 speed w/ overdrive - stock)but runs a quarter in 13.5 on 33'' super swampers. the new motor (dual carbed 454) and tranny (6 speed auto) should be here in a few weeks. then it'll blow most anything away. also getting a 6'' lift for it.

  • how are you going to work that six speed auto? those are all controlled on a class 3 high speed data line, im not sure anyone has any tcm controllers yet for it but you would need a shit load of inputs, tps, input speed, out put speed. the good stuff. lemme know how that works.

  • where do you live at? i think im up for a race. i got an 88 gmc 1500 sierra 350, 670CFM edelbrock carb, edelbrock heads, pro comp cams, k&n filter, flowmaster 40 series exhaust with high flow cat back. dyno'ed at 417 but i got a lot more weight
