I think that this is a brilliant fone from Tracfone. This fone is perfect and Tracfone have some really cheap deals (like promo cards) that make using a cellphone not an expensive hobby

A week ago I posted a complaint concerning the "Browser" button, on how I kept hitting it by mistake. Well, I think I've solved that problem, I loaded the ten features I use most on to the "Go To" screen and I never visit the "Home" screen, the Browser annoyance is a thing of the past!!! {"Go To" is found in "Tools"}

This is most likely common knowledge; but when you have the "Menu" screen showing you can use keys #1 thru #9 to access the on screen icons. For sample: #1 access"Prepaid", #2 access "Contacts", #3 access "Messages", and so on & so on; and lastly #9 access "Browser"...

Not a bad phone from tracfone at all, very cool if you have the 4gig card (max) installed with a micro usb cable! Far better then the tracfone touchscreen phone.

Be careful with the offers TracFone text to you. they are rip offs. The make an offer you buy 450 minutes and get 950 with promo code. I spent $79.99 to buy 450 minutes entered the pin # and the promo code and got my minutes and another text message to call them to complete the transaction (thinking i'm getting my bonus minutes I bargained for) Noooooo. They tell me there are restrictions, exclusions, expriations, etc to weasel out of their offer. All after the fact. -- just be careful.

I installed the micro sd card, but my snapshots or videos are not going to the card, instead their storing on the phone memory. Is ther a setting I'm not aware of? help if u can

Just so you know the lg500 only reads microsd cards of 4b or less. Your phone is not broken. You microsd card is just to big!

probably only uses up to 4gig micro SD like the LG 800g, but I'm not sure yet. "headphone jack" is awesome so you can plug in AC powered speakers :) All reviews I have seen so far, including this one, only cover fractions of the phone/features, so I am going to have to watch a lot, but thanks for your contribution, it was a help.
