If I had a chance to perform with EC and he asked me to sing this song, I would likely die before I reached the stage. I have so much respect for both artists and it is a great pleasure to see this performance. I can think of no other artist who could take this song and own it. For some reason I enjoy having my heart ripped out because I keep coming back to this song.
I remember reading a Costello interview after the concert where he mentioned this performance as the high point of the concert, saying something like this being a great example of an artist taking a song and making it her own.
I tend to agree - the passion she put into the performance gave me chills.

i just love this cover, Fiona's voice and way to sing its so emotional and sincere, she really can transmit me all of her emotions.
The first song that i listen of her was o' sailor.. no more than two years ago.. and i fell in love with her music.. now im 17 and she still is my favourite artist.
