Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly could learn a lot from this interview; the President telling us that we have to protect Freedom and Liberty in far-off lands by trampling upon them here!
I think RP would connect with even more people (especially women) if he would speak more about some of the personal experiences that helped shape his ideology.
Just when I think I can't be more impressed with his depth - I am.
Amen. They were elected to end the war and control the president and they didn't. They said they were elected to "modify strategy" and expanded, EXPANDED, the war and war spending. Lying bastards.
Wear that tea shirt with pride. Feel good about driving your car with that nice Ron Paul bumper sticker - more importantly - talk to people about Ron Paul. Gas stations, grocery stores, malls, whenever you interact with people make sure you find a way of slipping his name in - just luck the huckster slips his bookshelf/cross in.
I love this interview, but I was a little annoyed at the reporter continually asking questions like "why are you doing this? couldn't you be more effective elsewhere? why are you crashing that party on capital hill? =P why did you continue since you were so ineffective?" I don't know if he was trying to imply anything, but I say there's no way to measure how effective Ron Paul was and now is, I and bet he has had a lot more influence than anyone would imagine.
A good interviewer throws questions from lots of different angles, like a good light rigger will set up lights from many different angles, trying to illuminate everything. The questions you found annoying led to some of the absolute best -- and most unique -- commentary I've heard yet in this campaign.
well, I agree that Ron always gives great answers and no question is a bad question when he's answering. but it seemed to me he asked the same stuff repeatedly... and I just thought it could have been a little less redundant... but I guess you're right, it did bring out more commentary, I loved the interview... just... you know.. anyway :-P
Absolutely AWESOME!!!! I just cannot describe how much respect I have for this man. I going to wear my Ron Paul T-shirt with more pride from tomorrow.
"...to protect our constitution by not even following the constitution", just doesn't make sense does it.
That's Dr. Paul- sensible.

Can someone point me to more info on the Dems, in the late night hour, taking the restrictions off Bush to launch a war on Iraq?
I haven't heard of that one yet, and would like to read more.

Democrats vs Republicans is a charade designed to give Americans a false sense of choice.

Contrast this with Mitt Romney's interview with Tim Russert. It makes standard television politics seems so phony and removed from everyday reality.

That's exactly what I was thinking about it. That Romney interview. You can't compare.
