i smoked the new camaro ss with my evo x last 2 months. yesterday i smoked a c5 corvette with exhaust the guy said he's pushing a lil bit more than 400rwhp. the race was from 2nd gear until the end off 4th i got him by 2 cars were doing about 110mph but he'll definately catch up after 140 and smoke me if we continue...

AWD is faster in a launch than RWD, but none of you are stating why. RWD have all the power of the engine planted on 2 wheels. This means that the friction force at the moment of take off is very small compared to the forward force, where as in a AWD car with same horsepower, the engine power is spread out to 4 wheels, meaning that each wheel has less force at launch. This means less wheel spin as well. The closer the friction force to power force, the better.....

I almost got a camaro ss but the evo was more fun to drive and a lot more comfortable so i went with that one. @godverdepilukus never heard of the trim? if its a V6 its by no means a SS in any shape way or form. You can get the SS in the 1SS, 2SS, and the RS/SS package. you can get the V6 in the LS, 1LT, 2LT and RS/V6 package. learn your cars.

No way a stock SS Camaro will get burnt like that and with mods the Evo would be faster especially on a rolling start, benefits of a good turbo.

i smoked the new camaro ss with my evo x last 2 months. yesterday i smoked a c5 corvette with exhaust the guy said he's pushing a lil bit more than 400rwhp. the race was from 2nd gear until the end off 4th i got him by 2 cars were doing about 110mph but he'll definately catch up after 140 and smoke me if we continue...

AWD is faster in a launch than RWD, but none of you are stating why. RWD have all the power of the engine planted on 2 wheels. This means that the friction force at the moment of take off is very small compared to the forward force, where as in a AWD car with same horsepower, the engine power is spread out to 4 wheels, meaning that each wheel has less force at launch. This means less wheel spin as well. The closer the friction force to power force, the better.....
