Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker is taking the money from the mortgage settlement with the banks and instead of giving it to homeowners is redirecting the money toward the state deficit. Walker is going to use $26.5 million of the settlement money to balance his own deficit instead of helping the homeowners in Wisconsin.
Scott Walker you have said in the past that taking one time settlement money to fill state budget holes is unacceptable. I guess Walker it’s unacceptable unless you do it.
This recall has absolutely nothing to do with democracy. It has to do with a political power grab. The Democratic party is the party of greed they want their way all the time and will stop at nothing to get it. they think they are entitled to political power regardless of weather they earned it or not.
Walker wanted to change the rules of democracy, now he is getting the boot. If he doesn't like America he should take Romney's advice and move to N. Korea...
I find it funny when people like rrhynes call people like pigpen a "libtard". Screw the fact that most, if not all, liberals are for the equality and fair treatment of all. Such a foreign concept to teabaggers, it really astounds me. But in most cases its due to MSM brainwashing. Yes, little puppet, dance some more! And pay no attention to threads for which your limbs are tied.
Scott walker will win the recall, you will see! All you are doing is wasting money on a recall that you can't win. It was the same with Sheila Harsdorf, they tried to recall her, got over 300,000 signatures and then won the election for the 2nd time in a row! Same situation, probably same outcome.
lord romney and his dukes, walker limbuagh, hannity, kasich, have tried to use what the republican party did to destroy America ( unpaid for wars in the trillions, repressive govt intervention etc) as a way to blame it on the working people and it has failed.
The GOP power grab is a disgrace. Personally I feel all the current republicans in our govt should be placed in jail for treason against the American people.
So, fellow haters. Scott Walkers saving us millions of dollars and you want to recall him for someone who is just going to spend money? Give me one reason why he's not good, and not that 5% that you have to pay for health insurance. Guess what, we pay thousands of dollars. Quit fucking complaining. Don't give me petition shit either. I want to here what you say.
@hijacker520 Hear, sweetheart. Not here. Calling people haters doesn't make you look very mature, either. Have you ever thought that maybe we have just as much right to dislike him as you do to like him?
Walker’s budget proposal reduced the earned income credit for low-income working families that have more than one child. Since a tax credit reduces the amount of tax you owe, reducing the earned income credit means higher taxes for those families, or a smaller refund if the families owe no tax.
@hijacker520 Walker’s proposal would have raised $41.3 million in additional revenue over two years through the earned income credit change. (The version of the budget adopted by the GOP-controlled Legislature actually made the increase $56.2 million.) In terms of Homestead credit, The homestead credit is a property tax break that appears as a credit on income tax forms for low-income homeowners and renters. (cont)
@hijacker520 Walker’s budget proposal stopped the inflationary adjustment of this credit. That means those taxpayers pay more in taxes. Walker’s plan would have raised revenue by an additional $8.1 mil over two years through the homestead credit change. (The budget adopted by the Legislature made the increase $13.6 million.) In otherwords, he lowered taxes and then upped taxes. I can PM you my sources if you want.
I'd love to see a DEMONcrat attempt to balance excessive spending, state or federal level, and even more take on the political contributions that Unions give to political parties to keep them in power.
@padude64 Your 100% dead wrong the Dems started this recall they very well could have chosen not to do it it was their choice. This recall is going to cost us at least 10 million dollars. Everyone who participated who signed it and supported it including Mike Tate should have to pay the bill to cover the cost of the election. They wanted it then it's only fair that they pay for it and not the taxpayers who oppose it
@dvferyance AQCutually the recalls were started by republicans 1st by trying to remove the 14 DEMS that did filibuster by feet Then It was Friends of Scott Walker that Started the Recal on Gov Just so Walker could start gathering funds from his corporate buddies early & that's a fact Jack
Walker is being kicked out . Ohio has spoken. The GOP is finished. We all see it. They are dictators and limit freedom and personal liberty.
GOP Romney , won't even release his tax records. Why? Because like most millionaires, they game the system and pay little or zero tax. Less than you, yet they won't honor contracts, pensions, or anything American . They sold America to foreigners and foreign companies for cheap labor and crummy products to line their greedy pockets . The GOP are unamerican
This is a warning to all republicans! Do not vote to recall Scott Walker! This is not your fight-stay out or you will be deallt with severely. We will find you and come after you and your families. Stay out-you have been warned!
Union workers built America's infrastructure and the GOP has let it just crumble so pretty soon we will fall to 3rd world status .
The GOP are just destroying America and screwing americans, with their 12 years now of failed Bush economic policies that we are still under. Tax the rich, now!
@coltor9 Oh give me a break. Tell you waht, repeal the Davis-Bacon act and we can do 30 percent more for the same cost. I bet your labor leaders will get all over that.
@rrhynes did you hear that the state unions in WI were willing to give all the money and benifits up to help with the deficit?? walker is a union busting shit dick and people like you that don't see the reality of what the poloticians (rep & dem) are doing to the poor class are truly the problem that we in WI face
you are the ignorant fuck!! any time you want to come here and try to earn a living bring it you sun baked pussy. stay out of my states buisness and i'll leave you to fall into the ocean with the rest of the garbage out there. I'm waiting to see how long it will be before the federal government steps in and bails you rich fucks out AGAIN!!! Like i said come to WI and i will show you a hard days work or shut the fuck up!!!
@mmeck175 I'm a self-employed contractor you moron. Also, I don't live anywhere near the fucking beach. Your shit-eating state wants to claim it represents the "middle class". Bullshit. California is a right to work state. IT would work fine if we didn't have a bunch of liberal dumbocrats handing out money to every fuckin' mexican and lowlife. That's right , California has morons running it, just like Wisconsin. Same shit, different state. You're going broke, just slower than us.
If Wisconsin schools produce the type of ignorant trash we see represented by these union thugs, they deserve to lose their jobs. They obviously can't teach these idiots a goddamn thing.
@rrhynes we are so scared PLEASE don't call me an asshole again. btw i am not a guard, family members and friends are. what do you concider living good?? the only way they make better money is working over time and lots of it compare your pay to the real pay these union workers get and you'll be suprised, I don't work for the state or a union, and I take home as much as my union counterpart.
@mmeck175 I don't work for a union. I am self-employed. I make more than Union members do, but I have a lot more responsibility too. However, I don't get the retirement and health beneifits for the rest of my life guaranteed by the MAJORITY of taxpayers. I don't get shit for guarantees. I earn my living, with my own back, not on the backs of others.
@rrhynes you don't pay social security?? or medicare?? both come out of my pay. sounds like you earn your money being on your back for the likes of walker!!!
@mmeck175 Do I have a choice? NO. Have I gotten anything out of it yet, NO. Will I , most likely. NO. Do I pay higher taxes to pay your wages and guaranteed benefits, YES.
Do more of my tax dollars flow into Union coffers and union member pockets because of crony crap like teh Davis-Bacon Act? YES. Do you guys get fired when you fuck up, NO. Do you your unions lobby and pay off politcians with taxpayer paid dues? YES. Again, i earn my keep.
@mmeck175 And, by the way, I don't work for Walker. I live in California. I put up with our fucked state legislature, the majority of which are union loving assholes. I also have Feinstein and Boxer to deal with, because of fuckng liberals and dumbocrats. Our economy is in the shitter and will never recover. You can think the union loving, collective bargaining loving liberal dumbocrats for that. I'm getting fucked by liberal cronys , not conservatives. Go hawk your wares somewhere else.
@krista8527 You''re alredy used to assholes running your state. How else could Walker been elected. STatus quo must not have been working so well. FAce it, you're doomed. California is doomed also. I'll meet you in Texas.
@rrhynes hey dmub ass from California It was Artnold Swartzneger A Republican that put your state in the shit mess it is in just like a freakin Stupid ass Repibli CON here in WI is trying to do
This is a warning to all republicans who plan on voting to recall Scott Walker. Stay out-this is not your fight. We know who you are and if you vote to recall scott Walker you will be dealt with severely. We will come after you and your families. You have been warned. Stay out of the recall!
Public employees had a pension CONTRACT at hire date. Many, accepted lower wages for BETTER benefits.
If you bought a home with a 30 year mortgage at 6% interest and after paying it for 20 years, the bank calls you and states your interest is now 12% and your payment is now 800 a month more, you would be mad.
This is what the GOP does, they BREAK contracts and can never be trusted again.
Good job. Put another Dem into office so that the Union lobbyists can spend their union dues on getting the Governor's dick sucked. You people are such idiots. All this drama over collective bargaining, something is dying a little more each day. The gravy train is over, prepare to depart.
@rrhynes Name calling, dude? Really? Are we in 2nd grade? How about we have an intellectual debate without calling each other idiots and saying Fuck you. You, my dear friend, are what's wrong with american politics. It's this 'my opinion is right, yours is dumb' attitude that makes me embarrassed to call myself a citizen of this country. How about you grow up, stop with the polarizing crap and hash this out like an adult. Or don't. but if you don't stay off the internet.
@PonyBoy381 You should be embarassed, if you're dumb enough to get involved with a recall election of Walker. One of the big things wrong with politics is how Union dues from public unions are utilized to buy off politicians so that the MINORITY of workers can enjoy benefits the MAJORITY pays for. Now that is a fucking embarassment!
@PonyBoy381 By the way, there is nothing to hash out here. I don't believe in unions and I sure as hell don't want to pay one goddamn dime into their political campaigns.
@rrhynes so are you going to quit working construction to keep the inmates in prison (you should volunteer like Walker wants you to). but when you get stabbed by someone don't count on any medical staff being there to help (they are union workers too).
@mmeck175 Yeah I can do that. More than half the prisons are filled with non-violent drug offenders, petty shit. I'd be happy to let them out so we can close half the prisons, get rid of the guards that like to smuggle contraband into the prison, half the police that arrest these "horrible" people, half the probation officers, etc etc. Notice , they're all public union workers(aka parasites). Most nurses, where I live, aren't union so I'll be fien.
Maybe they should cut the spending in proporation to the wages being cut by the corporate CEO's? You know, the JOB CREATORS.
47% of Walmart employees now collect food stamps that tax payers pay for as the Walton Family with their 88 billion, pay their employees so low, that we, the tax payers, subsidze their food stamps and Medicaid, just like MOST of corporate America and their low wages and less than 40 hour jobs to avoid benefits. Walmart is the LARGEST employer in the US
you forgot shared revenue. he's keeping more of our of our state, tax which will dramatically increase our property tax. you could have left out the abortion stuff.
This is a warning to all republicans who plan on voting to recall Scott Walker. Stay out-this is not your fight. We know who you are and if you vote to recall scott Walker you will be dealt with severely. We will come after you and your families. You have been warned. Stay out of the recall!
I want my taxes to go to my healthcare, my schools, my union and my pension. I DONT WANT my taxes to subsidize corporate ventures, greed, mistakes, corruption, tax loopholes etc etc.
You either have an accountable democratic government that you demand upon penalty of revolution....be transparent and comply with campaign promises..OR you have an unaccountable, nameless, hugely powerful corporation with no liability and whose only fiduciary responsibility is to increase profits.
@barbcinque lol. Unfortunately, the masses have been swindled by the minority(you) inot believing THEIR taxes should support your stupid asses after you retire. That's the real tragedy here.
The GOP hates the poor, union wages , all the middle class, teachers , veterans , fireman, police , the elderly, students , the handicapped , and widows.
What's so bad about having to negotiate on your own behalf for salary/benefits vs. doing the least amount of work for the most amount of money? Why do I have to pay for your h/c and pension b/c u don't want to pay like the rest of us? Unions were great back in the 20's when you had to work 20 hour days 7 days a week with no bathroom breaks in horrible conditions. Unions are unnecessary in this day and age. Your unions are the major reason WI is in debt right now. Time to pay up for a change.
@Rieksfier do you even realize whats happening in the real world?? I have family that work in the corrections dept. they have to take fureloe days and then work doubles to cover them for others. this isn't about the money the union is willing to pay!!! If you work for a living then you better look long and hard @ whats happening to your tax money.
@Rieksfier then think about your future with walker as gov. he will have to make more cuts to the benifits we all use and don't think about. and he will still give millions to big companies. without any return to the state! if your against the state paying millions to its workers you should be up in arms over this type of spending!!
Walker stripped most public employees of their right to collectively bargain. Walker’s union-busting bill means that teachers, social workers, correctional officers, certified nursing assistants, laborers and other public employees in Wisconsin no longer have a say in their benefits and working conditions.
@mmeck175 lol. Awww. imagine that. You take a job doing something you were paid to do. How tragic. Working conditions? I'd say working in an air conditioned space is pretty nice, compared to a construction worker. As far as beneifts goes, that gravy train has left the station! You're broke dumbass.
Yes. We will get rid of the entire GOP. The most wasteful part of our entire government who approved of two unpaid wars and a Medicare part d for about 6 trillion. Then we could get rid of the GOP, TSA, for another trillion. Then cut the GOP war machine 50%, for another 2 trillion and let poor Wall Street and Haliburton, cry a little.
Warning to all republicans-Do not vote to recall Scott Walker. This is not your fight! If you vote to recall our governor you will be dealt with weverely. We know who you are and we will come for you and your families! Stay out of this fight-you have been warned!
The entire nation thanks you, Wisconsin! You are proving the people still have some power over the billionaires and their corporate sponsers.
The GOP no longer represents any middle class or poor American, along with students, the elderly, veterans, teachers, fireman, women, children, or the handicapped.
@coltor9 How do the democrats help the middle class, they are fighting a huge mining operation in northern wisconsin that would employ thousands of people. The democrats want to eliminate jobs for non college grads so they all live on welfare checks.
@centerflank The GOP HAS eliminated 5 million jobs by not passing the infrastructure jobs bill, idiot. The GOP wants all those who collect unemployment, that they and their employers paid unemployment insurance for, to pee in a cup and show a higb school diploma or GED or they do not get the insurance check they PAID for.
The GOP has just RAISED taxes on 160 million middle class workers, starting January 1st while CUTTING taxes on millionaires and billionaires!
@coltor9 Infrastructure jobs bill? You mean stimulus#2 that would have accomplished zero by lord zero?....How bout I make you a deal and we just abolish the majority of our wasteful government?
@centerflank THE acual job at the proposed mine are only 700 total & if this proposed mine was so dam great why change all the DNR regs to get it??? also T%he Tribes in the area were never notified of the proposed Mining reg changes a clear violation of their Treaty rights as the damage caused from the operation of this mine has a direct impact on their reservation & its water quality etc
@pigpen1958 Oh, its only 700 jobs, well screw it then EH? Its just not enough jobs???????? Its also different mining process than used in the past but I would imagine there would still be negative environmental impacts, that just creates more jobs to clean up the mess! Awe forget it, lets just leave all these people on welfare.....
has no one seen this is what Walker did in Milwaukee? Walker made a big stink about the county budget, and proposed radical changes. Then the board had to pick up the pieces. Who is going to fix his crisis this time?
@mmeck175 the board vetoed many of his cost cutting measures, one that sticks in my mind was when he tried to close down a few pools to save money, it was vetoed. Thanks your moron county board members and MPS teachers union for the budget problem
It's great, sure. But, I don't think it's enough. The Koch bros. will continue to sink money into the pocket of Walker so that they can continue the war on worker's rights. But, as history shows (and history DOES repeat itself) one cannot simply wage a war on workers. Something is going to be done, and hopefully this January will be the last time I hear Scott Walker's name with the word 'Governor' placed before it.
Yes we will fight the signatures, your multiple sigs are low grade ethics. Obama hasnt had enough time to create jobs in 3 years but walker had to do it in under a year?
Appleton School District - will save $3.1 million just in health insurance costs due to being able to bid out the coverage and being able to drop WEA Trust, Kaukauna School District - hiring additional teachers, reducing class sizes, enacting a merit pay system, and due to Walker's Budget Bill, Kaukauna's operating budget has moved from a negative $400,000 to a positive $1,500,000. Much of this savings was due to being able to drop WEA Trust.
Wauwatosa School District - tax levy decreasing, no programs will be cut, class sizes won't increase, thanks to the reforms in collective bargaining, Manitowoc - Laid-off city workers may get their jobs back due to the wage/benefit reforms contained in Walker's budget. Changes to overtime rules saving the county $100,000; Pittsville - will see a 9% decrease in the school portion of their property tax levy. "This is the first year we have not needed to short-term borrow,"
Elmbrook School District - changing health care provider, savings estimated at $878,000; Mequon-Thiensville School District - saving $49,000 on dental insurance coverage; Marshfield School District - saving $850,00 by dropping WEA Trust; City of Sheboygan - Mayor Bob Ryan says collective bargaining reforms will provide enough savings to make up for the reduction in state aid,
@MrJeggus Yes it has and it's saving tax payers millions.... here's the list....Ashland School District - saved $378,000 on health insurance, Kimberly School District - saved $821,000 by dropping WEA Trust Insurance, Edgerton School District - dropping WEA Trust, expecting to save at least $500,000, Baraboo School District - dropping WEA Trust, expecting to save at least $660,000, Dodgeland School District - dropping WEA Trust, expecting to save $260,000,
I can't wait until this prick flips his lid and acts like the irrational dweeb he is again after Scott Walker beats whatever absolutely lousy Democrat union puppet they try to install as governor.
@MrJeggus So you think it’s patriotic to support unions to force school districts to purchase insurance through their own union? All at the expense of WI tax payers?
@shack109 Not to mention pay menial workers with killer benefits like Cadillac pension plans and pensions.
When they kick out the incompetent security out the door at the local high school, they'll save money AND get better results by hiring off-duty and retired police officers who already will be getting a pension.
@williejenkins666 OH DID YOU MEAN THE INCOMPETENT SECURITY GUARDS WALKER HIRED AS MILWAUKEE COUNTY EXEC FROM WACKENHUT THAT NOW HAS THE COUNTY PAYING DOUBLE THE COSTS FOR COURT HOUSE SECURITY
700,000 signatures by next week. Wisconsin has spoken just like Ohio. Thanks GOP governores in Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Virginia, South Carolina, and Florida, as Obama-Clinton 2012, now leads in the RED STATES, thanks to you!
He got elected because of the complacency of ignorant people of Wisconsin. This is why people need to do independent research instead of falling for lies of million dollar propaganda that flood the tv screens.
A wise man once said
"An error does not become a mistake until you refuse to correct it."
This is a warning to all republicans who plan on voting to recall Scott Walker. Stay out-this is not your fight. We know who you are and if you vote to recall scott Walker you will be dealt with severely. We will come after you and your families. You have been warned. Stay out of the recall!
Great job Wisco....To those who elected Walker in the first place....this is what happens when you give Republicans a majority in your state. Good Luck with the recall, it sounds like it will happen...the rest of the country will be watching.
I voted for Walker and the Republican majority has, passed a state budget on time, without tax increases, that leaves WI in the black for the first time in over 10 years. Turned a $3 billion deficit into a $300 million surplus, cut bonding by nearly 20%, cut more than 1,000 government jobs, including 735 long-term vacancies. In the first 6 months of 2011 WI showed job growth more than twice the national rate.
@shack109 Protected our votes by requiring a picture I.D. at the polls. Became the 49th state to recognize our 2nd Amendment right to carry concealed weapons. Paid off WI's $60 million debt to MN under the former tax reciprocity agreement. Paid back over $200 million to the Injured Patients and Families Fund. This is money that Gov. Doyle unconstitutionally raided from the Patients' Compensation Fund.
@shack109 Walker also expanded the prohibition against tax money being used to subsidize abortion and just recently he signed the Castle Doctrine into law.
@shack109 Acoordding to Walkers Pal SEN Majority Lear Scott Fitzgerald(R) 13 District there is No 300 million surplus as was projected & IO would advise to get your News from a source other Than FAUX News Hell They think Palm Trees grow in Wisconsin LOL
LaCrosse rocks.. Visited that hometown of mine one summer when the temp was 98F. Humidity @ 92%--the bluffs along the mighty Mississipp pack it in. Anyhooze...GO RECALL
Great work guys. It's nice to know that democracy isn't completely on its deathbed. Keep up the good fight and show the 1% that their time is almost up!
@ottosez Libs? I work with all republicans. All of which have signed. This isn't about right wing or left wing. this is about workers rights, women's rights and the future of our state. Every politician has an agenda, but Scott Walker has attacked the working middle class. And history shows that you cannot attack workers without serious consequences. You, ottosez, are the problem in this state. Stop voting for one party and start paying attention to what greaseballs like this are up to.
@PonyBoy381 No no. Scott Walker has attacked the MINORITY of working class that are union employees....public union... the kind the Majority has to fund because there aren't enough of the minority to pay for all the benefits. Fuck you.
@rrhynes NO FUCK YPOU RHNES HELL EVEN FITZGERALD IS LOSING SUPPORT AMONGST THE COUNTY GOVERNMENT PEOPLE IN OFFICE IN HIS HOME DISTRICT HOW DO I KNOW THIS YOU ASK? IO LIVE IN HIS HOME DISTRICT & HEARD IT FROM MANY OF THEM 1st HAND
@pigpen1958 Who gives a shit. YOupeople are heading towards a welfare state. I consider Public Unions to be a big part of that welfare as well. YOu idiots aren't protecting the middle class, you're destroying it.
@ottosez you're just a typical redneck that still thinks Obama is after your guns, it's the only reason you vote for these Republicans....to keep your guns.
Awesome job, but don't get comfortable. We need a good cushion to ensure this happens. Republicans will fight tooth and nail over each signature. More than that, I want to send a big message to Walker. We still have a month. Let's aim for the moon and see just how many signatures we can get. I want Scott Walker to be terrified when the final number is announced.
@brinmat that why they count down the last 100 and the democrats can already go in his office while he in their and have a design team with them picking out new curtains lol
@brinmat Why do public employees need collective bargaining benefit???? Because most are inefficient at their jobs and would be fired in the private sector. For proof of my statement look at the MPS teachers getting paid for students that graduate and cant read. Thanks!
@ottosez Glad to see your spelling and grammar skills are so much better than the students in MPS. And if you are going to make comments (especially using such childish name calling techniques) about how liberals are failing our school system, why in the world would you support a corporate puppet like Scott Walker. He's taking away even more money from our schools. Please, those like you ottosez, are what is wrong with this state, not the LIB~TARDS as you so maturely put it.
@ottosez I will, and voluntarily to the people/causes I choose. Instead of having it taken without choice by greedy snobs who want to lower minimum wage and reduce benefits just to stuff their fat pockets.
@ottosez CAN WE COUNT ON YOU REPUBLICONS TO STFU WHEN WALKER GETS REMOVED FROM OFFICE IF NOT FROM THE COMING RECALL ELECTION THEN WHEN THE FEDS BUST HIS SORRY ASS FOR ELECTION FRAUD tHE FEDS ARE CHECKING OUT THE CRAP HIS CRONIES HAVE DONE BACK WHEN HE WAS MILWAUKEE COUNTY EXEC & I WOULD BET THAT WALKER KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT LAWS THEY HAVE BROKEN IN IS HEAVILY INVOLVED IN THEIR ACTIVITIES HIMSELF
@ottosez MPS? NO I never went to MPS Maybe you should pull your cranium out of your anal cavity before you suffocate. & Walkers lil side kick Scott Fitzgerald is also about to get his walking papers . So now if you have even 1/2 a brain cell you can tell I am not from Dane or Milwaukee county & WE all know you cant see nothing cause you one of them blind sheep Walker loves to fornicate with so much
@pigpen1958 You are a pathetic sheep. You are the one dancing like a drunken monkey on order of labor unions. You're a lost cause so there is pretty much only one thing that can be said to you: YOU ARE A FUCKING MORON.
@williejenkins666 only Morons you ya Kock sucking flea bag I have worked at Union & at non Union shops I own my own house while you are still sucking mama teat &living in her basement & I be4en out working for a living while you was still shiiting yellow & in diapers
@williejenkins666 YOUR THE FRICKIN MORON & OH I LIVE IN FITGERALDS DISTRICT & HE IS BEING RECALLED ALSO SOMETHING HE NEVER EXPECTED TO HAPPEN IN SUCH A HIGHLY REPUBLI CON DISTRICT LMAO & BY THE WAY I AM NOW WORKING IN A NON UNION SHOP & YES I HAVE ALSO WORKED IN UNION SHOPS TOO
If you dirty liberals just didnt vote for him in the first place you wouldnt be in this mess.

The Democratic party is the party of greed they want their way all the time and will stop at nothing to get it. they think they are entitled to political power regardless of weather they earned it or not.
dvferyance 3 weeks ago
There are some basic facts about this Recall:
1) Wisconsin's Budget Deficit was in-place long before Walker was elected
2) Unions are spending Millions of Union Member Dues to Recall Walker
3) Wisconsin Tax Payers will have to pay ~ 10 MILLION DOLLARS for this Recall.
And Finally (4), Even if Walker is Recalled, Wisconsin will still have it's Budget Deficit, Plus the additional 10 MILLION DOLLARS for the recall

I want to here what you say.
hijacker520 1 month ago
@hijacker520 Hear, sweetheart. Not here. Calling people haters doesn't make you look very mature, either. Have you ever thought that maybe we have just as much right to dislike him as you do to like him?
Walker’s budget proposal reduced the earned income credit for low-income working families that have more than one child. Since a tax credit reduces the amount of tax you owe, reducing the earned income credit means higher taxes for those families, or a smaller refund if the families owe no tax.
DraoiSorcha 1 month ago
@hijacker520 Walker’s proposal would have raised $41.3 million in additional revenue over two years through the earned income credit change. (The version of the budget adopted by the GOP-controlled Legislature actually made the increase $56.2 million.) In terms of Homestead credit, The homestead credit is a property tax break that appears as a credit on income tax forms for low-income homeowners and renters. (cont)
DraoiSorcha 1 month ago
@hijacker520 Walker’s budget proposal stopped the inflationary adjustment of this credit. That means those taxpayers pay more in taxes. Walker’s plan would have raised revenue by an additional $8.1 mil over two years through the homestead credit change. (The budget adopted by the Legislature made the increase $13.6 million.) In otherwords, he lowered taxes and then upped taxes. I can PM you my sources if you want.

padude64 1 month ago 2
@padude64 Your 100% dead wrong the Dems started this recall they very well could have chosen not to do it it was their choice. This recall is going to cost us at least 10 million dollars. Everyone who participated who signed it and supported it including Mike Tate should have to pay the bill to cover the cost of the election. They wanted it then it's only fair that they pay for it and not the taxpayers who oppose it
dvferyance 1 month ago
@dvferyance AQCutually the recalls were started by republicans 1st by trying to remove the 14 DEMS that did filibuster by feet Then It was Friends of Scott Walker that Started the Recal on Gov Just so Walker could start gathering funds from his corporate buddies early & that's a fact Jack

@PonyBoy381 You should be embarassed, if you're dumb enough to get involved with a recall election of Walker. Unions were great back in the 20's when you had to work 20 hour days 7 days a week with no bathroom breaks in horrible conditions. Unions are unnecessary in this day and age.
