Nissan Maxima Halo Headlights

What year Maxima is this? I'm thinking about putting in Halo headlights for my 2000 Maxima SE. But would I need an HID Kit for the low and high beams? I'm trying to get the Philips conversion kit, 6000k.

So I would need 2 low beams, 2 high beams, and 2 fog lights? So in total like, 3 kits of 2?

Do the halo's have their own bulbs with them? Do they use the standard 9004 bulbs for Maximas', and LED or HID bulb? Looks like their is a convex focusing lens on it to turn them into projector lights. IS that correct? I have a 98 Max and since the lights are getting a bit worn and scratched up I'm thinking about replacing them with something like this. Thanks.

These lights are garbage. Plus when the halos burn out you can't replace them. Yeah it makes your car "look" better, but in reality they function like crap. My girlfriend bought a car with these in it. The original headlights where xenon units and the wiring harness was butchered to make these work. Custom auto parts are nothing but highway robbery for the unintelligent "form over function" street racer wannabes who slam their car then wonder why it drives worse then before.

if you look closely there is chrome based around the light fixture...it enhances the Halo lights...does yours have chrome in there or black...makes a big difference

Wire them in to the parking lights, that way they come on with the parking lights and stay on all the time, no headlights, high or low beam,

You can wire it up that way, yes. Most people just hook up the LED Halos to the parking lights, that way when the parking lights are on, so are the LED Halos. (And also when normal lights are on, since the ambers are on with "normal" headlights on)

You could hook the Halos up to a separate switch inside the car, to turn them on without the ambers/regular lights, but that'd require you to setup your own switch inside the car.

I do have ONE suggestion though. Ditch the fake angel eyes & get REAL cold cathode ones put in the headlights. Check out my Cardomain ride ride/2941325 The Cold cathode are REALLY worth the switch. easily 4 to 5 times brighter.

Yeah, I had an Infiniti I-35 which is nissans luxury company and that Infiniti had 180K miles and no problems at all. It ran as smooth as the day I got it newand that was in 2003. I sold it 3 months ago and bought an M45. I am an Infiniti customer for life. My GF has a mustang that she has halo and its always getting condensation. I think most aftermarket lights do. Some peopleseal the edges with silicone but she did that and it still gets condensation.

That look nice. I was gonna do the same for my Maxima. However, it's a 2002 model and that's when the xenon HID lights came standard with the vehicle.

I bought a new pair of Halo assembly lights from imotorsportoutlet on ebay

when the shop told me that the halo lights can't mound on the car, I was dissapointed. The shop explained that the HID mast was incompatable with the new assembly so I'm gonna have to return them.
