  • Just like to point out that this song was NEVER considered. The record company just claim it was rejected for publicity. ocwolf will block anyone who attempts to put the record straight and will also delete their comments. Please STOP THIS RUMOUR!

  • @AnimalNitrateInMind

Why do you even persist on this?

    Stop your trolling now please...

I have done nothing but proving you wrong so please stop this now.

What have I done you wrong in any way?

  • WTF? Was that Jason Statham in that gun barrel moment?

  • @anikid0392 Yep, right on the target! he's our double with a double pun intended.

  • This is fantasic, i love the idea of chaning the opening eye squence and the book idea is also great good :)

  • @MusicrevolutionPromo appreciated, thanks.

  • Adele is singing the opening sequence for the next one

  • @SugarW1thC0ffee Nope. Producers have denied that they've picked the theme yet

  • This is exactly the type of theme song that is needed to open "Bond 23" !!!

To the writer...I hope you will be submitting another to the film producers...and get Joss Stone to sing the vocal ! diamondforever.ca

  • LOVE THIS SONG THEY SHOULDVE USED THIS AS THE THEME IN THE LAST BOND FILM INSTEAD OF THAT Horrid song Alicia Keys and that other guy did.

  • I've been trying to Google this question of mine, but without any luck; is it know how much the singer/singers get paid for performing a Bond theme song in a Bond movie? Is it more if the singer also writes the song, and if so - how much more ?

  • @MrTigurinn Obviously if the performer is also the compositor of the song, s/he would have less people to share the money with. Otherwise, most of the money goes to the label/record company and the lawyers; the artist (unless it's a mega-star) gets fame and peanuts.

  • @ylaviv Thanks for replying - I remember a video with Simon Cowell stating that the record company would get a lot of money on Susan Boyle, but she would never the less get a handsome sum. And I've always wondered why the record label gets the most money, and always interested in the sums involved. Guess that if the artist who were to sing the theme tune was independent could negotiate the sum

  • @MrTigurinn Depends on many factors. an independent artist would probably get much more money but then again who's going to take care of distribution and commercial publicizing? these neither come easy nor cheap.

  • Brilliant contribution! :) With the best rejected Bond song ever. Another way to die is a fair rock piece, but lack the sound of Bond. Just as Die another day and even Tomorrow never dies to some extent. But Sherryl Crowe added some very good vocals to her song at least. So Mr. Wolf.. change the lyrics a bit to the next movie and let Mr. Arnold add some bars to it and it will be the most perfect Bond theme for ages! And the song could be immersed in the rest of the soundtrack as well...

  • you kept the man in black archetype for James Bond awesome!!

  • @jconnor117 Yes, I paid homage to the best Bond intro ever made,i.e., "Casino Royale". Thanks.

  • Where can I download this track legally? I'd love to support this artist in any way I can.

  • @ufgt1989 Music: Christian Wolf. Vocals: Eva Almer. These are the Swedish artists behind this particular song.

The studio version of this song (in much better quality) can be found on amazon.

  • This track definitely has that ineffable "bond sound", what a shame that it was rejected.

  • This is what the "experts" should consider to be Bond and Beyond.

  • Just wonderful ! the last Bond theme w/Alicia keys just left me flat, this was a million times more worthy to have been a Bond theme!

  • @TalShiar69 We couldn't agree more. Thanks.

  • This really should be the theme for next Bond-movie. Contact those working on Bond movies, they must hear this!

  • @Wowmusicable This song was presented to the producers of Quantum of Solace some years ago. It was turned down. Many times in show business, a song performed by a famous artist sells much better, no matter what the quality of the song is like. That's reality.

  • @Wowmusicable By the way, the composer/producer and female singer behind this song are Swedish.

  • @ylaviv Yeah i know =)

  • Excellent artwork and effects, cool video - well done. Refreshing to see someone who is serious (as in serious about doing it well) making videos :)

  • @AlfaMadDog11 You are too kind. Thank you for the encouragement. We do our best.

  • Hu O_o how did you do this video ? It may have taken so much time... As a comment said, this a so creative and beautiful main titles video

  • @slihfshf

It did take a great deal of time but I've never believed in cheap & quick videos.

I thank you for your compliments--means a lot to me.

  • Oh James

  • In my precedent comment, I was so stunned by the song, I forgot to mention the astonishing quality and the dynamic creativity of the video. In fact, I prefer this instead of the mix with the presentation of the movie. Good show ylaviv!

  • @Wilshcocqkst

Ha ha, now you're talking. Yet on a more serious note, Wolf and Almer do deserve your praise for their talent as much as for their hard work behind the scenes. Show Business does not always shine on the righteous and modest, which is a great pity. Nevertheless, people like you can make it happen.

  • Masterpiece! I listen that song again and again... Never get tired of it! Christian Wolf and Eva are fantastic artists!!!!

  • Are you planning to do anything like this again?

  • @StuartTheLPnoob

    A video or a song?

  • @ylaviv A fanmade 007 intro.

  • @StuartTheLPnoob

I'm trying to convince Wolf, the talented man behind the music, to produce more Bond themes... and believe me, he can create some amazing melodies. There are some bits, pieces and ideas... who knows.

  • I love this song! One of the biggest mistakes in the Bond series was not to chose this as the title song. It would easily have been the best since Goldeneye

  • I am so dumbfounded they passed on this awesome song that screams Bond. They didn't know what they had...

  • Wow, this is amazing. You are truly talented, i woul've thought this was an offical opening from a film. And it's a shame the song was rejected. Brilliant, mate!

  • @StuartTheLPnoob

    much oblige.

  • how the heck was this turned down?!

  • @mrfrisk007 My educated guess is that Alicia Keys and Jack White were supposedly more of a draw. I don't understand how a movie franchise that prides itself in introducing relatively unknown actors, can''t carry that over to the title song. Not that "Another Way To Die" is a bad theme, but passing over "Forever" was a definite mistake.

  • @mrfrisk007 It wasn't even considered. The record label just likes to claim this was rejected for publicity purposes.

  • wow! you are really great at this. u really save a talent 4 it

  • I have been a Bond fan for a very long time now and is all I can say about this song is that it is the best Bond song since Goldeneye in my book. EON productions were crazy to reject this wonderfull piece of music. They don't know gold when they see it? Christ!

    Once again, wonderfull!

    Harry Fawkes

  • @harryfawkes

Thanks Harry. This would make Eva very happy, I'm sure.

  • Eva, you sound like you should already have been on a dozen James Bond sountracks. Although I know you have even greater potential than that! Very nice..

  • @nilspal Thank you so much Nilspal! What an honour to get such a wonderful feedback. I hope I get to sing for you many more times. In January my new website evaalmer.com will be up and running and there you will find more of my material. Please visit me there early next year! /Eva Almér

  • @SwedishSinger

Dear Eva Almer, is all I can say is this: You are simply wonderfull - punto e basta! I cannot stop playing this golden piece of music and whoever wrote the music and lyrics are equaly wonderfull. I am 41 years old and know what I like in life. In my book there are three great Bond songs which one could never tire of listening to. These are: Goldfinger, Thunderball, You only live twice, Octopussy, Goldeneye and Forever I am yours. Harry Fawkes.

  • i love this song

  • i love this song and i wish they had this on itunes

  • @hunter7150

You can get it from iTunes.

  • Great vid... awesome... I wonder what tools did you use to achieve so great vid, and the bald bond... nice detail... greetings.

  • @kabsther

    Thanks for the positive feedback.

I used Photoshop for the graphics and manipulated them in Sony Vegas; however, the tools are not so important because there are no simple tricks and effects or any other shortcut to achieve this. It's a great deal of slow and fine work with much experimenting. We're talking 100s of hours over 2-3 months time.

  • Whoa. That was mighty fine, that was. Hell of a lot more memorable and interesting than the officially released intro for Quantum of Solace.

  • @Taekwondolink

    Thanks mate!

I guess you're right, but then again, that wouldn't be too difficult to achieve, now would it. Your
