I thought it was June but it could have been May (and yes it was the Barbican). Roy Nathanson probably has documentation. My computer and all my papers were stolen in 2001. I was worried the master to this film was lost until recently! So that's why I'm fuzzy on the dates. I also have no idea which theatre in Oxford we filmed. Perhaps someone or Roy will eventually fill us in.
It was a great show. I remember seeing the cameras and recently asked SKY ARTS and Performance channel if they could track the show down, with no luck.
Thankfully now I have bought the DVD and cannot wait to see it.
These clips you've posted are wonderful. This was such a special period for Deborah Harry to just be a musician and experiment with her voice. The JP's are amazing and I hope their collaboration with Deborah Harry continues. Paradise on DH's latest solo CD is one of the most beautiful and haunting songs I've ever heard. Thanks again for posting...I'll look for the DVD.
Jazz Passengers with D. Harry were GREAT, perfect combination between jazz unleashed musician and a weird-charming chanteuse.

Brilliant clip. Is this from The Barbican in May 1998?

"Paradise" makes me cry. It will forever remind me of my dog passing away. So now he's a dog lounging in sand, I hope.
