This year's Strictly is very enjoyable and Holly is lovely and improving all the time, but she will have a very long way to go to be as beautiful a partner to Artem as Kara was last year. There was something really special about their partnership and the trust Kara had in everything that Artem asked her to do to make her such a wonderful dancer.

Holly is great with Artem, but absolutely nothing compares with the chemistry that Kara had (and has) with him. This was just superb, exquisite, just fabulous. What a fantastic dancer she is,I keep harking back to this although I em enjoying this year, nothing compares to Kara last year.

The best rumba i've ever seen on strictly! It's so beautiful and moving and the song went with dance perfectly. It just all came together to be absolutely mesmorising! I've watched this so many times and literally cammot stop watching it. Just...wow!

I think they are alot better than Jennifer and Derek on dancing with the stars because they have loads more passion and chemistry and although jennifer has slightly better tecnique - she has had dance training before (dirty dancing) and its better to be a bit rough around the edges and have more passion and musicality than just be always amazing and not improve xx

even though jennifer grey on dancing with the stars has more tecnique i prefered this one because it was nicer choreography and its was still tecniquly good with performance aswell. They also have more chemistry. x

That foot coming slightly off the floor in between moves is such a minor thing, it gets ignored in pro comps. That stuff isn't penalised at all, as it's not intended to be a lift. I know they have to do it on Strictly to stay consistent, but it's such a picky thing and you couldn't get a dance more deserving of 40.

Blown away by her dancing & rumba technique. So difficult - one tiny adjustment is nothing considering what she's doing. Never thought I'd see a celeb rumba to this level.

She/Artem and Rachel/Vincent are the only couples to have produced a fluid rumba with special attention to the transitions and light/shade in tempo as well as the key moves. Everyone else's generally has looked step-by-step and more fragmented. Shame that foot came off the floor, not to mention a small wobble later on, though I pin it down to nerves. She nailed it in the preceding training.

watching this dance live I was totally preoccupied with the tone of pink being used in her dance and the fact that I'm really not a fan of Santana songs. At the time I also thought that Artem was wearing the wrong outfit for the dance and was thinking the whole time that he should have been wearing some black latex top but watching it back it really was a good dance better than I was thinking it was on the night.

@avatarfan07 Well, rules are rules - if your foot comes off the ground in a rumba, not to mention a number of other Latin dances, then it's technically regarded as a lift and Craig was within his rights to highlight it. Nevertheless, the judging throughout this competition has been inconsistent, the most chronic sufferer of that Len. I remember him distinctly penalising Pamela/James when they had a throwing lift in their own rumba but blatantly disregarded it in this case. What gives?
