  • hey man, i know it must be annoying to ask you this again but can you put the tutorial on how you got it like a 16:9 look. i tried looking all over but no luck. i just got my deathlens and i wanna export my next video s it does this. if you r busy then its all cool. i'll just keep looking at your videos. thanks again

  • why is ur quality sooo good on the vx2100?

what settins makes the quality awesome likes urs?

    is it shutter speed?

  • This was filmed in auto mode, but i did edit in Final Cut Pro after. First thing i did was to decrease the highlights or over exposure you tend to get in auto, i then altered and boosted colours to give it a vibrant but natural look! I then exported the to Apple Quicktime format using H.264 codec, this makes a big difference and retains a high qaulity image in a small file size, then upload it to Youtube! Thank's for positive comments

  • how high do u leave your shutter speed at?

thank you so much for the help

  • I was in auto mode, i presume it must have been high given the weather conditions, nd filter was on nd1, i always use auto with fast moving objects, sorry i cant tell you the exact shutter speed, alot of the qaulity is down to editing after, before i processed and colour corrected the footage looked a bit washed out and reduced colour, thanks to editing i was able to reduce chroma and boost colour giving the results you see

  • did you film in 16x9 in the vx?

  • Hi, 16:9 mode in Vx2100 is a waste of time, I shoot in 4:3 then use a 16:9 frame in Final Cut Pro and increase the image by a third to make it look like 16:9, You get better results than shooting in 16:9

  • can you please put a tutorial on how to do that?

i just started skate filming and i dont know how to make it like that

  • Will do in the future, watch this space

  • nice film and well edited, like the focus pulls really effective

  • same as you. vx2100! thats how i found ya video!!

  • reallly well shot. looks great
