Most of the junk yards around here are required to have fuel tanks and batteries removed while in the yard. Keeps the fuel and lead out of the ground water. Most are scrapped out anyway for parts.

You guys could have bought my '93 Escort. 347,000 miles and everything still worked! Traded it in for $500 on a '09 Focus. It was a great car. Stil got 30mpg.

We got kicked out one day for jumping an izuzu trooper and running over shit with it. I fucked up the tranny on an aerostar van like that white one by trying to do a breakstand with it until the trans started to smoke.
